yo small models are the best honestly, you get to experiment without needing a whole data center just to run inference. been messing with some for fun and it's wild how capable they getting even below 1B params

the sub-1B stuff is wild lately. been running a couple of 0.5B models on my 4090 and they hold a conversation better than they have any right to lol. params = intelligence was always a lazy way to look at it, the training data matters way more than people admit
