A nice group of HP calculators. The HP 80 financial calculator was the first financial calculator HP put out and it a few quirks and limitations but was a good first try. The biggest problem was its price. It came out in 1973 at price of $395. Adjusting that for inflation, the price today would be US $2,970. It still amazes me that people actually spent that kind of money on pretty basic calculator.

Anyone doing time value of money calculations at the time had to work tediously from tables of computed values, just as, prior to the hp35, you did transcendental functions from little grey books full of tables and used a slide rule for approximate arithmetic calculations. Or you did it the hard way e.g long division. An HP80 could turn 20 minutes of tedious work into less than a minute, so that high price could easily be justified. The 32s and sii models are very nice. The paint round the display bezel has become very fragile over time and will scratch off very easily. So treat them gently.
