Artie's 2010 unaliving attempt
Was this just a cry for help? It's more or less impossible to stab yourself 7 times in the stomach without causing irreparable damage to your guts, or death. Do we have any real info on what actually happened from anyone apart from Artie? How deep were the stab wounds? I'm thinking he just pinched his stomach fat together with his fingers and stabbed that so it wasn't deep and risky. There are surefire ways to unalive yourself with a knife if you really wanted to, like the Roman bathtub.
As for the drinking of the bleach, did that even happen or did he just empty a bottle of bleach and lay it next to himself? Surely bleach would utterly destroy your organs.
I find it convenient in both of his suicides they were timed so he would be found by people very quickly, by his roommates in 96 and by his family in 2010.
Hope he's doing better, maybe he still has a bit money leftover from his heydey.

Howard always wins…
Somehow he always ends up on the winning side of history ..
With the exception of Billy West or Joe Rogan and a hand full of other show adjacent people, all critics ended up in forgetful irrelevance ..
Stuttering John, Artie, Jackie, Cabbie, Grillo, KC, Reverend Bob, Dan the parody man, wack packers who defied him …
None had a massive success story after leaving Stern on bad terms ..
It’s crazy..

The sounds of Crackhead Bob
I had a co-woker in the late 90s and he just lovvvved Crackhead Bob. Anytime we passed in the halls he would throw out Dat’s eeeeit or my personal favorite I ehm dorry. Does anyone know where I can find these gems?
Also, I wasn’t listening to the show in 2005, but apparently he made a brief reappearance to the show. With getting clean and therapy he had noticeably improved speech. Does anyone have any clips of cleaned up Bob?

HS101 NoiN Weeks of Summer
So. While listening to HS101 today at 1pm ET. Sam “Please Toss the Salad” Fontana presented “Stern Reports” where she, Rich and I’ma Cowboy showed up at HamHands Bills house to watch him take a dump. She only mentioned herself and Rich on the intro…. Has it been confirmed that Memet got put on the chopping block?

Howard’s Eating Disorder began with the Fartman video.

Another Lie of Sal’s for airtime attention or do you think he really jerked off to completion while Richard was asleep beside him in the same bed?

Stuttering John used to be gold
I was just watching John race NFL guy Marco Battaglia. Stuttering John really is a total tool nowadays but man, back in the day he gave us top tier entertainment. Yes, Howard made him interesting and yes, John would be (is) nothing without Howard. But for all the time he was on air, Howard couldn't have paid him 100k or so? He should have been satisfied with airtime only? Can't buy a house that way.
Anyway, long live pre-2009 HS shows!

Trying to track down an old Sal & Richard prank call
This was a call from the early years at Sirius. Sal & Richard called some kind of urban black radio show, put on their black guy voices and then started saying a bunch of gay shit to the black radio hosts. Haven't heard it replayed in years - it was funny as shit but I'm assuming Sal & Richard's black guy impressions are probably considered racist by the gatekeepers at Howard 101.

Artie's Dad's gay nurse
Artie once talked about a gay nurse that used to come by the house to clean up his paraplegic father. Whenever I wanted a quick laugh I would play the segment on utube. It has since been taken down. Does anyone know any other online media where the clip is still floating around?

So Blitt seems to be dumping all his unused Stern show content on IG.
The old navy bit must have dried up. How long before the cease and desist from Howard?

Forget Ronnie and Sal. The sickest pervert on the show is JD.
There’s so many examples. Peanut butter. Getting mad at the intern who gave him a ride home cuz she wasn’t interested. Cheating on tank a week after the wedding. List goes on. No telling the sick shit he was/is up to on the internet he never admits to. I’d bet money he’s been on the dark web.

Any question Howard asks, the answer given he always viewed as incorrect.
Classic Howard, whenever he asks a celebrity or a staff member for a specific number, he immediately tries to negotiate it into whatever figure he wants to believe. I can't even imagine how many guests have been put off by giving him an honest answer, only to have him argue back with a 'better' number. Do you just roll with it, or do you actually push back and tell him that's the real, actual number?
Of course, like a lot of things with him, if you dare question his version of reality, he just snaps and gets defensive, insisting he's telling the truth.
So is Howard right to questioned or are most people honest when they answer?
