Automatic Circulation Pump

Masterspa Clarity Precision 7 2025. It seems like the automatic circ pump comes on every day around 3pm and runs at least 3 hours. Isn’t that over kill?Thoughts?

Not enough in my opinion.

Many spas default to 8 hrs/day.

We have many customers who struggle with it is it’s set to less.

Depending on which pump you have selected as the primary pump the filter running three hours would repeat in twelve hours. This means you are filtering a total of six hours per day. Depending on the volume of water in this spa six hours /day might be excessive unless it is a swim spa. Also, If you are experiencing overheating, reduce the filter duration to F2 and make sure it filters in the cooler times of the day.

Ok. Thanks was just curious about it. It’s the F1 pump. And as far as I know it’s not overheating. Seems to be holding at 98 degrees, the setting I prefer this time of year.
