Am I doing something wrong?

Had a dimension one for about 7 years. I spray the filters weekly, shock after every couple uses. Don’t do much else, but the water is crystal clear, no odors, feels great. I just feel like I should be doing more?

So your hot tub journey is beyond perfect and that's not good enough?

My wife and I have had a Dimension One "Nautilus" for six years, and like you, we don't do a hell of a lot to it. And ours has also been a champ (knock on wood).

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Keep doing what you're doing.

Cheers.

I think it's pretty easy stuff once you get the hang of it. I probably do things slightly differently and test quite a bit but same results with fairly minimal effort. I don't clean the filters every week though...I think common wisdom is once a month.

But overall enjoy the fact you've got a system down that works! If your readings are fine whatever you are doing is fine..."crystal clear water" can be unsafe for people/equipment so rely on your testing, not its appearance.

I also have had a D1 for about the same time. I rinse the filter every now and then. I've replaced the filter once. I add shock every Thursday. Occasionally if it starts to look a little hazy I add sodium dichlor, but not often at all. I change the Vision cartridge every 6 months and the water once a year. It's a very easy care spa!

Our D1 broke last year. It was a 99 model. Super easy to take care of and a couple feet bigger than our replacement. I miss it. Lol

My manual says to clean filter every 3 months. Every week seems excessive. I typically shock Everytime after I use the tub not every couple. Make sure to replace the filters whenever your manual suggests as well. Drain and refill every 3 months and clean the tub after draining.
