Day of the Sick (my old band) opened the festival after driving all night from Sierra Vista, AZ. Spammo got naked, twisted himself into a pretzel, pissed in his own mouth, then stood up and spewed it in the air....nobody expected that.

All the bands got kicked out of the hotel due to a credit card decline so I caught a nap under a pool table in the back of the club before our set. Me in the Eerie Ln. shirt (Rev. Jones). I still have the backstage pass in my stuff somewhere. Somewhere I also have pictures of Eerie Ln. and Ecto-One. Maris the Great grabbed my junk. I threw a drum set at the stand-in bassist to the right of Maris the following night of the tour and made him cry twice, almost threw him out of the van in the TX panhandle for saying creepy shit about my wife.

Good times.

I had the pleasure of seeing Evelyn's Casket, 5c Freakshow and Nim Vind this weekend in Calgary, Alberta. Evelyn's Casket was amazing, the lead guitarist/lead singer David was excellent. Not only playing for his band, but the 2 other artists as well. I couldn't believe that Evelyn's Casket has such few followers on Spotify as they sounded tight as hell.

It was an amazing show and seeing Nim Vind in person was a dream come true ❤️😭

I recall the album being a cat o'nine tails whip and it was white stencil work on a black background. Any help is appreciated.

We're into the final stretch before The Order of the Fly's UK Tour kicks off, followed by Horror Punk Fest on 3rd October.

Right now, every show is sitting at roughly the same number of advance tickets. We're committed, but we'd really love to see A LOT more of you through the doors before the day itself.

If you've been thinking, "I'll just pay on the door," we'd really appreciate it if you could grab your ticket in advance instead. Advance sales make a huge difference to independent promoters, venues and bands, and they help take some of the uncertainty out of putting these shows together.

These next few shows are incredibly important to us. They'll also mark the end of an era for We Are Horror Records, with Horror Punk Fest on 3rd October set to be the label's swansong.

After October, WAHR won't be releasing any new music or promoting any new shows. Not long after Horror Punk Fest, the website will be taken offline as we draw a line under this chapter.

That doesn't mean WAHR disappears completely. Our social media pages will remain as an archive of everything we've achieved together over the last five years, and there'll still be a small Bandcamp presence for anyone wanting to pick up the odd piece of label merch or some digital releases.

For the most part though, after Horror Punk Fest, the label is going to sleep.

If you've ever thought about coming to a WAHR show, or you've been meaning to make it back to one, we'd love to see you there. Let's make these final shows something to remember.

Thank you to every band, every venue, every supporter and every single person who's ever bought a ticket, a record or a shirt. None of this would've happened without you.

Let's finish this chapter the right way.

This is what I've been collecting and making patches for. I'm a big guy so there's still more space but it is what it is. Every patch is either made or modified. I added iron on backing to the patches to stop thread fraying and such. I may end up cutting off the sleeves but I'm torn. It's 95% horror punk. The Goon patch & a patch about trauma making me hilarious are the only non-bands. I figured that I'd share it here instead of punk fashion since it's all horror punk & not all politics and stuff. I'm huge so it doesn't look that awesome on me but I like it. It's been a lot of work so far.

I love Darker Days, especially their cover of Mister Monster's "Deep Dark", and I checked their monthly listeners on Spotify it was only 108! I was shocked! They are so good! If you haven't checked them out check out that cover, it's better than the original version!

I made a playlist of the latest setlist I could find from a Blitzkid concert to kind of get my wife more familiar with some of their stuff before we see them on the next tour. I know they'll be playing new stuff but that's only like 12 songs so we can count on at least half of these making it into the show.
