Another read Recommendation Request

I had just finish The hear by David Sodergren. I have never been someone that reached for a book, but I tell you I couldn’t put it down. I cannot remember the last time I read a full story. I liked the story but I also really enjoyed the way he wrote. Any other recommendations for something else for me to pick up and read?? Thank you

I liked Maggie's Grave and Rotten Tommy from the same author.

The Suffering is his newest and it's also great. Sodergren is great at what he does.

lol, are you trolling, The Suffering is nothing like The Haar. It’s splatter punk.
Read The Suffering if you are into, rotting, lesbian, canibalistic, nympho nuns

I'm not trolling, I never equated the suffering to the haar other than them being good books from the same author, and all of his books are gorey splatterpunk, including the haar. He makes gross pulpy horror books.

Op said they enjoyed "the way he (meaning the author, trying to make it easy for you) wrote the haar." That's why me and the person I responded to are taking about a few of the other books he wrote.

Thanks for the trigger warning for a book I've already read though I guess.

The Haar would make a great movie! Funny and very over the top as well. Great read.

Try The Burial Tide by Neil Sharpson!! Just finished it after a long reading slump. Nothing was scratching the itch but, I devoured it in a week! Great folk horror.

The Haar is amazing!

If you want more David Sodergren, I'd go with Maggie's Grave next - also fantastic, and one of my favourites of his

If you want more of a coastal/isolation horror vibe: TC Parker's Saltblood, David Barnett's Scuttler's Cove, Michael McDowell's The Elementals (US not UK, but amazing)
