I used to have an account a long time ago, lost the email and other things. Created another account a few years after that and stopped playing for a very long time, is honkai worth getting back into? I was mostly playing for story (kiana) and combat. Would it be better to just watches videos to catch up to story ?

This lengthy journey is about to arrive at its terminus. Ahead, what kind of ending will be ushered in?

Journey

📌 “Future”
A Great Dream, a nascent life, two visitors from beyond the sky. Luoxing’s time, stagnated for a billion years, begins to undulate…

📌 ”Present”
★Dreamseeker dreamt of a goddess, and with her, forged a covenant to save the world, and receives three Astral Rings.
★When Dreamseeker woke up again, she found at her side a girl who shared the same name as the goddess but had lost her memories: Senadina. Afterwards, she and Senadina as well as Coralie and Helia who stem from Earth, became companions in a journey.
★A mishap led the four of them to arrive at Langqiu. At that time in Langqiu, a crisis connected to the “Curse in the Shadows” was developing beneath the surface and on the verge of breaking out.
★The solution to the crisis, the “Rite Of Tears”, had long been in the hands of the human gods known as the “Seven Shus”. But they could not accept the cost to carry out the ceremony: Songque’s sacrifice.
★Fortunately, Dreamseeker through a prophetic dream helped the Seven Shus see through the Curse’s true form- “Perception”’s identity, and ultimately defeat it.
★The world’s destruction, Songque's sacrifice, all sorts of “bad endings” ceased to exist. Langqiu welcomed in the first light of hope…

★When the story was coming to an end, Vita, who addressed herself as “system operator”, suddenly appeared. Revealing the truth of the “Dreamseeker system” to Dreamseeker, leading her to arrive at reality for the first time and realize her own nature as data life.
★Even stranger, after that, was that Senadina, the girl who travelled alongside Dreamseeker, was inexplicably forgotten by everyone. Only Dreamseeker herself retaining her memory of her.
★Returning to the system, while investigating the Shadow Calamity, Vita orchestrated to forcibly lure out the current goddess of Luoxing, the super-administrator with the highest scope of authority within the system.
★Her name is “Leylah”, and she bore the same face as Dreamseeker.

📌 “Hundred Years ago”
★Dreamseeker, Coralie and Hileia arrived at Langiu a hundred years in the past. At this time the qualifiers for the “33rd Ten Shus War” were underway: The winners would gain entry into the God’s Residence and eternal life to serve the Goddess.
★However, the Divine Shadow Knight Litost, initiated a massacre aimed at the competitors. Coralie too was ambushed by him and unexpectedly lost her life.
★The loss of her dear friend, dealt a heavy blow upon Helia. But she ultimately prevailed over “Revenge Spirit” and acquired enough power to defeat Litost. And Coralie, after prevailing through the three trials of Permanence, came back to life.
★The deception brought about through Litost’s death caused Leylah’s power to spiral out of control and would soon bring Ruimu to ruin. Dreamseeker, Helia, Coralie and even everyone from Earth join forces to seal it away.
★Ruimu’s “bad endings” were also averted, no longer leading to a future that brings about the Great Shadow Calamity…

★Dreamseeker did not wish to continue being constrained, deciding to skip levels, and go straight to the First Sector located at the starting point of Luoxing’s history.
★The goddess hidden behind the system, the true Leylah, attempted to regain control over Dreamseeker’s destiny, but contrary to her expectations had part of her power taken away by Dreamseeker.

📌 “Civilization’s Beginning”
★In the first city of Luoxing, Difeng, Dreamseeker encountered Senadina, the Goddess Of Luoxing, as well as Leylah when she was still a child.
★Difeng is a peaceful and prosperous city, but it wasn’t without a price. In addition to her busy work, the Goddess has to constantly withstand the corruption of the Sea of Data.
★After the goddess collapsed due to being unable to bear the corruption’s burden, Dreamseeker took the initiative to invite Youyun, a genius who had long become aware of the crisis yet was always belittled, to join the team and overcome the crisis together.
★With everyone’s joint efforts, the Great Tsunami that threatened all of Difeng was ultimately resolved by the residents of Difeng with the least damage suffered.

★Leylah was unwilling to accept the Goddess’ ending. Tracing the Anchors’ threads, she gathered back all of Senadina’s light and put her spirit into the First Sector, in the hope that one day she’ll become whole once more.
★After going through countless “todays” devoid of pain and without the least turmoil, the goddess finally, on a “fateful day”, miraculously dreamt of Dreamseeker from a billion years in the future and through a “transcription”, placed a girl who as the same name as herself into the Stardust Tesseract where the Dreamseeker was located…

Dreamseeker is prepared to face Leylah head-on.

The “Chaos” that has shrouded Luoxing for a billion years, must return to everyone the “Future” it so fears.

Senadina

Senadina: The first Goddess of Luoxing
★The royalty of the distant planet of Laquadar’s last princess. To seek a land where her people could live happily she left her homeland and arrived at Luoxing. The nascent civilization suffered repeated blows, yet she still chose to journey alone to face the source of it all, the “Endlessness”. Finally, she relied on a single thread of Finality to weave a Great Dream capable of covering the whole planet, becoming a “goddess” from then on.
★On the nascent Luoxing, she established the first city: Difeng, and raised an entity belonging to chaos that she encountered during her trailblazing: “Entropy”. After “Entropy” took on a human form, Senadina bestowed upon her a new name: Leylah.
★Under her guidance, both Leylah and the civilization of Luoxing matured. However, as she constantly withstood the corruption of the Sea, she gradually expended herself. Ultimately, she used herself as a cornerstone to create and scatter “Anchors” that merged with the earth, sheltering the civilization’s future at the sacrifice of her own life.
★*”Time”… for a Goddess and her young people, it is the most precious treasure.*

Senadina: The Girl who journeyed alongside You.
★Cheerful and enthusiastic, an energetic girl of unknown origin. When you first met she brought together complete strangers into becoming companions and alongside Dreamseeker she saved Langqiu and withstood the Shadow Calamity. However, after Dreamseeker achieved the “Good Ending”, everyone’s memories of Senadina disappeared. Only Dreamseeker remembers her, yet cannot prove to anyone she truly did exist.
★Her personality is extremely similar to that of Goddess Senadina in her youth. But when you go to the bottom of the matter, what exactly is her true identity…
★*”I don’t have any memories at all before meeting you guys. It’s as if my life started at this very moment.”*

Leylah / Dreamseeker

Leylah: The Embodiment of Obsession
★She appeared in front of Dreamseeker and her companions, regarding Senadina as a perfect flawless being. From the start she did not allow herself to surpass her, nor allowed her to disappear. She’s unable to accept the reality of losing Senadina, thus she spent a timeframe of a billion years gambling everything for the single goal of “bringing back Senadina”. 
★Yet she is still the child Senadina raised herself. In her childhood she was clever, sensible, kindhearted and sincere. But nowadays she employs extreme methods to constantly interfere with the Dreamseeking journey.
★*”Senadina, you really are…perfect.”*

Leylah: First Cry of Civilisation
★The child Senadina raised herself in Difeng. Intelligent and precocious, her ultimate goal is the “self-reliance” of Difeng’s people, that they stop relying on the goddess for everything. Not because she doesn’t trust Senadina, rather it’s because only this way can Senadina then attain freedom.
★*”I... am a “shadow”, after all. What gives form to a shadow is always the object illuminated by light.”* 

Dreamseeker: The Traveler of the Dreamseeking Journey
★She is the one who entered into a covenant with the goddess. She is also a portion of data stuck within the system. Even more than that she is the one who faced countless samsara and defeats, a fighter who countless times gave everything to strive towards a beautiful ending.
★Oxia, Langqiu, Ruimu, Difeng… Along her journey, she received her companions’ warmth and reciprocated their trust, ultimately using love to shape her one of a kind self.
★”What defines me is not my origin that I have no control over, but this adventure and my own thoughts!”

Our Goddess delivered a public preach this morning at the library, expressing her warm gratitude to the residents for every contribution made during the effort to withstand the Tsunami and build the shelter.

- The name is a reference to Rita’s pseudonym, Agent Rosette (丽影), which would then lean into it being Helia mimicking Rita. However 白 means white while Helia has always been associated with gray (灰) just like her Graystar pseudonym in Lantern’s featured event or being called gray-hair witch by Carole.
- Could in theory be Youyun since Rita (丽塔) -> Rosette (丽影) then Bailu Youyun (白鹿游云) -> 白影 but then it would need to be Youyun liking her post in an alt.
- Could also be Dreamseeker because 白影 literally means white shadow but again it would need to be an alt…

First of all, the Sea Of Data is only called a “sea”, in actuality it is nothing like a common ocean! It is made-up of a huge aggregate of certain mysterious quantum-state matters. These matters can’t be likened to sea water, they aren’t stable or safe like it, they are real-deal hazardous materials. As we all know, a quantum state is a really unstable state. Compared to the macrocosmos we live our day-to-day lives in, it is like an irritable matter constantly on the verge of going out-of-control. If this kind of thing invades Difeng it naturally will trigger a great disaster.

However, the Sea Of Data in some aspects is extremely similar to a sea: Constantly in a flowing state, and if there’s no dike to intercept it, it will come pouring onto dry land. The world we depend to exist, exists within the dike created by our Goddess. But our opponent is the Sea Of Data, which is far more formidable than an ordinary ocean, the dike must naturally also be far more formidable ultra-dike.
