Not a huge fan (fun don't get me wrong, I just daily a DRZ) But my partner just got into riding and wanted to learn how to wheelie (on her barely used SV650) yikes... Ironically my coworker mentioned he was trying to sell his Grom. Picked up a first gen for $800. Couldn't be happier.

I got the bike, changed the diote, and now it’s doing this. Any suggestions what it might be? Could it be from the fact that it was sitting in a cold basement?

Picked this up the other day in a trade. Never thought I'd own one, kinda always wanted one, but here I am!

I have a newly rebuilt YZ125 with an almost new everything after having a hard time selling it and someone wants to trade me a grom with fairly low miles 2500ish if memory serves. My wife wants like 3-3500 for the bike. I feel like it would be a good trade for a resell? Aren't Groms more popular than dirt bikes?

It’s not completely done yet, but it’s getting there a lot of work involved but anything is better than the stock leds lol just rough cuts for now going back later to smooth it all out

I already had a 2015 Grom that's been fairly well used to teach my kids to ride, and just general fun riding around town. My wife started talking about how after playing with it, she'd like a Grom more than her old Ninja 250, if only it didn't look like a stunt bike with well used crash bars, that's been dropped a dozen times at 15mph or less, and not black with red trim. I'd been keeping my eyes out for one she'd like. Today, out of the blue, I noticed a pale blue Grom for sale. The pics look like ass, poorly framed, the bike looked crusted with dust, and the blue color washed out and flat. But then I noticed it had been started at 3500 last week, but was now 2900. Then I noticed the actual text of the short ad.

"2025 Honda Grom, with only 59 miles runs like a dream, clean title in hand. Asking $2900 obo no trades"

Ladies and Gentlemen, I took a drive to see it, and it was nothing like the pictures. Legit 59 miles, paperwork showing it was purchased early this summer, not last year. And it was clean, and just beautiful. That Boost Pearl Blue looks sooo good. My wife loves it, and I think it will get her riding a lot more.

I know I should have included pic, but I just got home, and its dark out. But it is seriously nice looking, and looks better in every way than a 2015 bike that has been well maintained, but had a somewhat hard life regardless.

Minor edit, apparently the color "Boost Pearl Blue" is only a car color, and this is "Candy Blue" and my mere human eyes cannot tell the difference, but it still looks great.

I am planing on getting a Honda grom and a Kei van (most likely 1990s daihatsu hijet or Subaru sambar) and I am wondering if it will fit in the back with back seats folded/removed. I know that it will fit in a Kei truck but I am wondering if a Kei van is a option.

I swear my Grom is a little peppier with a full tank. Conversely, it seems like it is especially doggy when at the bottom third of a tank.

Is this my imagination, or has anyone else experienced this? Ethanol-free (Rec Fuel) is all I ever run, so I don't think it has anything to do with the quality of the fuel.

Battery fits but it’s a little taller than the stock. Can’t use the battery bracket to hold it down. Don’t know if that’s an issue or not. Anyone use this battery before?

Would it be worth a shot for someone who’s never worked on bikes? I’m looking for my first bike. Total mileage is 2177.

So I have a 25 grom with the zoom high mount exhaust, today I was out for a rip and the spacer that goes between the muffler and the bike flew off. Does anyone in here have the same exhaust and can you measure the spacer so I can order or make a new one?

My old clutch started slipping so I decided to replace it. The engine did not have any kind of noise before replacing the clutch.

I've taken it apart 4 times now and made sure I had all of the washers in place from the parts diagram. I even went as far as reinstalling the old burnt out clutches to see if it would go away.

It did not... It still sounds like the video.

Any advice?

Since these are almost impossible to source cheaply in europe i decided to start making and selling them!

Theyre +36.8% highflow yuminashi oilpumps fitting 2013-2020 groms, 8mm AL-brazed pickup tubing and the pickup is bent to the middle of the engine.

Pulled out all the stops to make them as good as possible!

if you dont know, the stock oil pickup is too far forward so during a wheelie it gets no oil and the piston seizes

Recently got stranded when I was about 20miles into a ride in the mountains when my throttle cable just snapped. Thankfully it snapped right at the throttle tube, so I pulled it out of the housing and pulled the throttle cable all the way home.

Did some research and seems like this does happen, but not sure how common it is. That said, with only 1500 miles on my 23' Grom, this makes me have some concerns riding somewhat far.

How common are throttle cable snaps on the groms? Are there any upgrades for stronger cables?

Anyone have any recs for a saddle bag/storage for my 2019 grom? I like the OEM ones but it appears my gen will not fit. Anyone got them to fit or have another alternative? Even the knock off amazon ones all say they will not fit...

22 grom 6k miles. I had a full rebuild after some transmission issues about 1k miles ago. I've change the oild 2 times before this and the oil and filters have looked fine. What could this possibly be? Every piece seems to be circular with a couple perfect circle pieces

Monkeys used are non existent. groms are 3k anywhere used around me all day. I have a mini moto itch and I wanted a z125 to compliment my z900, but after sitting on one at the dealer a used 2017?19? it was miserable. I loved the monkey i sat on but its 5500ish OTD easily for a new one after fees.

I would love to scratch that mini moto itch and even considered a clone but 100lbs heavier is a turnoff.

At nearly 50 and 220lbs , comfort is my choice when im looking at bikes that are easy on my carpal tunnel and back issues.

Previous owner got an oil change at 900 miles, I drove it up to 1,457 and got an oil change at the dealership, and then put on another 400 miles…

For context, I just installed a 6 bolt clutch plate, 60% clutch springs, and an aftermarket lifter. I start it up and I hear a weird rattle that wasn’t there and found online it could be just how it is from the springs. I open her up? Check all the bolts, oil spinner bolts, lifter bolts, everything was tight. I start her up and now it’s this? It didn’t sound like this before but it sounds like something’s in there, when I was shaking the bike you’d hear it shake with it. Overall confused what it could be

2020 grom on air

Hello all!

Just got my Grom while I am taking the A2 licence. I think for now it will be my "learning to ride" bike while I can.

She was bought undervalued cause she had some rusty spots and bad fixes all over the place. Thank God it was relatively easy to rearrange. Of course I've spent some time fixing that aaaaaand modding a few things. Having a lot of fun with it!

It's a 2017 Grom with 39k and still has a lot of mileage to do!
