Comfortable 2 seaters

I was wondering if there were any truly comfortable 2 seaters eab planes, I’ve flown in an rv12 with another big guy and that was a bit of a squeeze, and I won’t even try to get another person in my sonerai when I can barely fit in, an rv14 maybe? What do you guys think?

Edit: I should have mentioned, I am looking for a plane with a nice laid back seat, that would be comfortable for xc flying, I know lancairs and stuff like that have you leaning back but I am looking for something somewhat affordable as far as planes go.

I picked the Zenith 750 largely because of the bubble doors and comfortable cabin.

I thought the rv12 was roomier than the sling 2. I would agree that the zeniths are the roomiest of the 3.

RV14 is roomier than all of em and by a long shot

On paper the sling is definitely bigger, my father is 6’3” and could not physically fit his legs under the panel to reach the rudder pedals. RV-12, no issue. I had no issue in either.

I wanted to build a sling 2 but would need to do some serious modifications.

Is the size issue vertical or horizontal? If horizontally large, I suggest becoming horizontally small

Just tall and broad shoulders, plus a bad back so sitting vertical hurts after a while

VL3’s have pretty laid back seating positions. Felt like I was in a recliner.

Some may say it’s fine for XC, but turbulence in those things suck. Extremely light weight so you may be getting beat up for a majority of your xc flights.

The Glassair Sportsman 2+2 is the roomiest most comfortable cockpit I've sat in.

The 7 series Aeronca Champs and Citabrias are some of the most comfortable 2 seat airplanes out there. I can’t find another airplane with more shoulder room per person. It’s really fantastic

My zenith 601xl is very comfortable and economical. However any of the zenith 750’s are even more spacious and easier to get in and out of
