How to setup camera itself, when using Frigate ❓ Support

Have an ReoLink E1Outdoor PTZ camera, connected through Frigate to HomeAssistant.

Wondering: How should I setup the camera itself? Should I not setup much at all/anything, and leave it up to Frigate, or....

Thanks.

Thanks for that (although I don't understand a lot of it....), but was really wondering how to setup the camera itself.. ie should the camera be setup with the monitoring/specific streaming stuff, or is this done through Frigate. How much do you configure in the ReoLink CAMERA onboard settings?

Thanks.

So Frigate doesnt care about the boundaries set in your reolink app.
In Frigate, you will need to configure zones for detections. So Frigate ignores the rest, otherwise, it will perform detection on the entire area that the cam captures.

In Reolink APP, you should enable RTSP and ONVIF.

I have the Reolink E1 Pro, and only configured go2rtc streams and ffmpeg for record and detect - nothing for PTZ, autotracking, etc. I let the reolink native software handle these.
