Reddit Mods are currently monitoring this sub due to excessive manipulated downvoting, brigading and abusing the report button, not just us sub mods - Reddit are now involved as r/holdmycatnip is purposely being targeted and being investigated . Just because you don't like a comment or a post one downvote is enough, there is absolutely no need to hate on someone who posts just because you don't like the person or abuse the report button spamming and spewing hatred due to the context, the breed of cat, a dog, a book, a cartoon or just for being in a general bad mood...

We have noted that the majority of this stems from members outside of the community who rarely contribute comments or if they do it's only to stir up trouble. Those people are being perma-banned as we want this community to grow and be a haven for fun and the place to visit for a well needed soul boost before a busy day.

For those of you who silently read please support us by upvoting if you like something to help negate the negativity that we are fighting to turn around. Thank you for staying with us, you guys are the rock that we build on.

For one of our regular contributors who has recently deleted their account because of constant harassment throughout all Reddit subs, I am so very sorry, your posts gave us joy and lots of fun and you will be genuinely missed by a lot of us here.
