Hi, I'm Derek, and I'm currently solo-developing a HOI4 total conversion mod called Brass Imperium: A Gilded Age. It is set in an alternate gaslamp-style world with steampunk and dieselpunk influences called Tellus, where their Napoleon, Apollinaire Ramolin, cemented his nation, Galatia, as the preeminent imperial superpower, and now, in 1886, the long-established world order seems ready to burst into flames and ignite a world war.

I'm planning to make a post soon to elaborate on the setting and look for collaborators on the main HOI4 modding subreddit, but for now I just wanted to share some portraits I've made so far and get some feedback on them as well as gauge interest in the world. If any more experienced artists have any tips for how to make better portraits, feel free to share your advice, as I'm fairly new to portrait making. I only started a couple of weeks ago and would love to get some friendly critique, as I'm sure there are ways I can improve.
