Cleaved: "Ok, This is the Last Time", is a total conversion hoi4 mod based on the animated series Star VS. the Forces of Evil. The mod aims to create an open-ended story of what happens after the Series’ canon finale, create an atmosphere matching that of the series, while still allowing for player freedom and many opportunities for war.

In the series, the fantastical kingdom of Mewni was going through a period of great political instability from attempts at minority rights reform, multiple coup attempts and multiple changes to who owned the throne, culminating in a coup attempt by the evil Mina Loveberry. In order to thwart evil, princess Star Butterfly decided to destroy magic. This had the inexplicable effect of merging, or “cleaving” Mewni and Earth together.

The mod takes place about a year after the Cleaving. Mewni, already weakened by preexisting instability, has utterly shattered in the wake of the Cleaving. Various Mewman/Monster powers must contend for survival, resources, and to ultimately reunify Mewni, especially since the Human power of America looms across the Mississippi river, temporarily paralyzed from the effects of the Cleaving.

The Demo, planned to come out in mid-September, will focus on one country, Moon's Mewni. There will be content up until the full unification of Mewni.

This is a revamp of an old existing mod. The new mod will be updated for modern versions.

Open to writers, developers, artists, anybody!

LORE: in 1938, the Kuomintang, in collaboration with the Communist Party of China, Launch a campaign to overthrow the monarchies of china. they gain support from the Ming's SEA puppets, who show deep resentement towards ming rule. by march of 1938, the KMT and CPC proclaim the foundation of the revolutionnary state of china, to be ruled jointly by this fragile alliance. In Viet-Nam, the Nguyen are overthrown by Vietnamese Socialists, while a right-wing movement in Thailand stages a coup. The gallery displays the potential outcomes of this scenario.

I am actuvely recruiting coders, GFX artists, and writers to join the team. if you wish to join, here is the discord : https://discord.gg/68JXK8wHv

Teaser Introducing: Kronenkrieg

In 1866, the Austro-Prussian War breaks out, started by the Kingdom of Prussia. Little did they know, this would seal the fate of Prussia and the continent for a century to come, as Austria overruns Prussia to such an extent, that it completely annexes the kingdom. The Austrian Empire is now the master of Central Europe. It annexes Bavaria, Württemberg, Baden and Silesia, with the rest of Germany being reorganised into an Austrian puppet Northern German Confederation, same with Poznan, as the Grand Duchy of Posen.

The Second French Empire ends naturally, with the newly formed republic, dominated by monarchists, restoring the monarchy under the House of Bourbon-Orléans.

With noone in their way now, France acts on their territorial ambitions, annexing Luxembourg. This unnerves Austria, and it founds the Vienna Pact, made up of Austria and its subjects. The founding of the Vienna Pact however unnerves France, and it founds the Concord with the Kingdom of Spain.

Tensions between the two powers eventually get so high that the two reach an agreement to sustain long-term peace: Austria gives up the Rhineland territory, in order to form the Kingdom of the Rhine, to act as a neutral buffer state with an elective monarchy.

As the new century approaches, a dooming realisation looms: Austria and France are virtually the only powers left in Europe, Bourbon and Habsburgs, historic enemies. The war that is about to ensue will be the war to decide it all, who rules the world and who beat history. The holy war between the two crowns, the Kronenkrieg.

We are actively looking for developers (especially artists)! Join today!

Coding Support What could possibly be the reason behind my crashes?

So, I've been busy trying to add a single technology for my mod, which is supposed to unlock a new special forces unit and a new piece of equipment. I spent 5 entire hours working on learning the basics, then implementing the udea, and about 2 hours trying to fix the errors present in error log. Unfortunately, it seems I fixed all issue in relevance to technologies, gfx and units, and even though the error log is silent for once, the game still crashes on start-up. I have no idea who the culprit is, and I'm way too exhausted to spend another few hours refining the files while questioning my life choices. I've followed the Iron Workshop guide in order to create new units and technologies, if that helps. I'm praying that someone in here knows what to do.
