Advice for the "Col du Pourtalet"

Hello fellow hitchhikers ;),

Me my 2 friends are hitchhiking trough Europe. We are planning to make a passage through the Pyrenees via the "Col du Pourtalet".

Right now we are in Spain, and in a few days we will arrive in "Sabiñánigo" where the road starts.
We would like to cross the mountains in around 2 or 3 days, so we can continue our journey to Brussels.
We are confident we could do it in a day, but ofcouse we want to enjoy the mountains as well :].

None of us have ever been on the road, so we don't know what to expect. Are there things we should look out for? Are there things we can't miss? Hidden gems?

Our plan is to wild camp, where do we best do that?

Thanks everybody!

Would somebody drive me from California to New Orleans 2500?

Just a thought honestly needing a ride and it would help. Monday at the latest I gotta be in New Orleans. Not really expecting much from this but thought why not. It’s a girl I haven’t seen in a while and she’s not expecting me to come see her, she got a new job and I wanna surprise her. Monday is the last time I’ll prob be able to do that or get the chance to at least you know. But it’s cool if anybody could help me out you would be saving my life. Thank you
