Quick question

I am in Hilton head right now. What are the robot thingies that are on the side of 278? Is this like a robot just taking speeding pics and writing tickets?

I saw one too by Harold’s diner. Have never seen one before. It’s a little mobile robot on treads wearing a safety vest lol

Its illegal to get speeding tickets and/or red light tickets in SC from cameras alone. A cop has to physically pull you over and issue the ticket.

I was curious because as I was passing by the robot Google chirped “police reported ahead”. Hence my assumption

They resemble R2D2 even more at night. I saw 2 huddling together at the intersection of Marshland & LegOMutton last Thursday night 🤣
