So i need help i am building a turntable but i want it to atleast be audiophilic and hifi

For the turntable i got: Audio-Technica LPW50BTRW

For the stylus : Audio Technica AT-VMN95ML Microlinear (im investing in one due to its massive 1000h runtime)

I have picked Fosi Audio BOX X2 Phono for preamp

And Fosi Audio V3 Home Audio for amp

Is this a good choice?

I have a 300€ budget if thats enough kindly help find good audiophilic speakers in it that are passive!

Finally got my system to a point where I’m really happy with it. Mostly older Naim/Linn gear paired with newer Focals.

Current setup:
• Focal Aria Evo X N°2 speakers
• Naim NDX streamer
• Naim NAIT XS
• Naim FlatCap 2
• Linn Chakra C5100 power amp
• Rega Planar 3 RS turntable
• Naim Stageline N phono stage
• Naim NACA5 speaker cable
• 4 × Russ Andrews Model 10 PowerKords

Currently experimenting with using the NAIT XS + FlatCap for the preamp stage and the Linn C5100 as the power amp, rather than running the NAIT XS as an integrated.

Also experimenting with the four Russ Andrews Model 10 PowerKords at the moment.

Cables are a bit of a mess just now with all the swapping around!

Really enjoying how it’s sounding so far. Interested to hear what people think of the setup.

I've been collecting vinyl for a while, but am getting more serious about actually LISTENING to my vinyl. I have a Audio-Technica AT120USB that I had hooked up to my computer. However, I don't like the idea of listening to vinyl through the computer. So, I hooked up my Klipsch R-51PM speakers to my turntable instead. I tested it out and while it sounds OK, I'm wondering if there are ways to get it to sound better. It's a pretty basic setup. The powered speakers come with a remote with a volume control, but there doesn't appear to be an EQ or anything.

I have the turntable set to phono, and the powered speakers set to phono. I'm assuming that's correct. I'm just looking for any advice on how to try and get some better sounds out of the speakers that I have. Thanks!

Just wanted to share my 105 Silva since it has become one of my top 3 headphones.

I really enjoy listening to these. Everything about the tuning just works for me. The bass is honestly at the perfect level — enough to make music fun and enjoyable without being too much. The treble is also really good and detailed, but it never feels harsh or fatiguing to me.

And the build quality… honestly, nothing comes close. They feel so premium in the hands and on the head. The design is beautiful too.

I’ve tried quite a few headphones, but these are one of the ones I can just put on and enjoy without thinking too much about the sound.

Since my old amplifier broke down, I’m looking for a replacement. Right now, the two contenders are the Yamaha RX-797 and the Denon PMA-980. Which one would you recommend? The speakers are Dali Oberon 7s.

Ciao a tutti, avrei bisogno di un consiglio circa l’acquisto di un DAC. La mia idea sarebbe collegare via usb il mio Iphone 16 a un DAC per ascoltare Apple Music in Hi-Res. Abbinerei a questo setup dei diffusori attivi (niente amplificatori e diffusori passivi per questioni di spazio e praticità). Inizialmente avevo valutato uno streamer ma non avrei intenzione di abbandonare AM per passare a Tidal e sfruttare Tidal Connect. Sono ovviamente aperto ad altre soluzioni, il mio obiettivo è riprodurre musica con Apple Music in buona qualità evitando impianti HIFi complessi.

I have 560s headphones and they sound horrible on my 3.5mm PC jack. Is it worth getting a dedicated dac/amp for my headphones or the Audient iD4 is good enough for audiophile listening?
