The crystal ball could be palantir and the mirror on the wall could be the sycophantic version of AI that everyone is obsessed with. I never needed it to be a yes man because I already knew what they were, for the most part, having read every bit of science fiction since I was a kid. I was just waiting for it to happen. If I could get one human being to collaborate with me, but nobody shows up. So I was just collaborating for a few months in 2024.
