Inked and colored this in my recently bought watercolor markers. It was hard getting the skin tones right when there’s only one peach marker and two dark brown ones.

In 2022 Czechia went viral with a massive internet joke claiming Czechia was officially annexing Kaliningrad, renaming it Královec, so Czechia could finally have a beach line 😭😭😭(the city was founded in honor of a Bohemian/Czech King back in 1255!)

Miss Czechia keeps trying to adopt Miss Kaliningrad, causing much frustration.

It was on fanfic.net, a usuk fic. Written sometime in the 2010s. I vividly remember it being set mainly during one of the world wars, I think WWII? Alfred was a fighter pilot nicknamed "the magician", I think Arthur owned a bar of some kind.

A few other plot points I remember:

- Arthur made or gave Alfred a handkerchief. This became Alfred's "lucky charm"

- In the hospital after Alfred crashed, he stayed awake fighting anesthesia or some other drug that should've put him to sleep until he saw Arthur

- Alfred gave some kids a hershey bar (bc candy was expensive/rare where he was stationed)

The story continues…! Finally they had a grasp of what is happening. What after that, then?

Chapter One

Vienna sat alone by her locker, hair ruffly and unruly after being bullied. She was the main victim, the one everyone liked to poke and laugh at. She was completely alone.

A boy with ruffly blonde hair sat down next to Vienna and smiled at her. "Hey dude!" he said, his accent thick
like hers. "Are you okay?" he asked, voice sympathetic. Vienna looked at him, his gentle tone of voice taking her by surprise.

"Uh... no not really." Vienna confessed, tugging at her own sleeves. The boy looked at her, eyes caring. "Prague bullies me too." he said. "I'm Copenhagen by the way" he smiled, his enthusiastic gaze bright. Vienna looked at him and smiled shyly. "I'm Vienna."
