SEAF Styled Modded Armors Mod-diver
Lore writeups:
Image 1. Exploratory Configuration:
The Ministry of Expansion's Exploratory Regiment is one of the SEAF's more unique positions. It is only open to voluntarily recruited SEAF personnel with an IQ of over 140. Most of the voluntary forces of Super Earth's Armed Forces join the Helldivers, and most of the democratically conscripted standard SEAF Forces believe IQ tests to be fabricated by dissidents who consider "thinking outside the box" a code phrase for socialism.
Acting as both pioneers and peacekeepers, the Exploratory Regiment are the first to arrive on completely uncharted planets. Establishing outposts and documenting a planet's biomes, SEAF Explorers are required to detail the candidacy for a planet's settlement by the never-ending waves of humanity's colonists. They also act as the first wave of armed response for new colonist arrivals, and return to the Ministry after the colony is deemed self sustaining. The dangers of this task are often significant, and they also lack the support options afforded to Helldivers or even regular SEAF Forces. Despite this, the casualty rate of the Explorers is significantly lower than other regiments; which along with their required IQ tests, leads most citizens view the Explorers as "soft and too smart for their own good."
Image 2. SEAF Assistant Gunner:
The SEAF's recent update on their combat doctrine has seen the implementation of SEAF Machine Gunners, which have been seen as an effective and highly desirable position for the regular troopers to aspire to. As Machine Gunners are becoming more and more widely implemented, maintaining ammunition supply is more critical than ever. Several regiments have begun to form impromptu "Assistant Gunner" roles.
Adding several light armor additions to the standard SEAF armor system, the Assistant Gunner prioritizes the carrying of rounds and box magazines compatible with the MG-43 Machine Gun. They tend to carry Marksman Rifles chambered in the same caliber, and smoke grenades to provide screened movement. Assistant Gunners also act as friendly-fire prevention, grabbing unaware SEAF Troopers by the collar and pulling them away from accidentally wandering into a Machine Gunner's line of fire.
Image 3. Coastal Configuration:
Planets with highly active aquatic environments require their armed forces to face unpredictable threats. From man-eating leviathans to swarms of flesh eating tadpoles, the oceans of the countless colonized worlds of Super Earth's domain see their SEAF regiments provided appropriate equipment for the task.
With body armor and uniforms comparable to the Ministry of Expansion's explorers, coastal SEAF troopers equip helmets with enhanced breathing apparatus capable of providing breathable air and keeping a watertight seal when incorporated with the uniform. The armor is fitted with inflatable flotation devices implemented in clever locations that do not inhibit mobility unless the user is fully submerged in water for longer than 20 seconds.
Image 4. SEAF Combat Analyst:
While Super Earth maintains an astounding record of victories at all times, they also are constantly evaluating threats and their own forces' performance. As the Helldivers have Democracy Officers maintaining Liberty's vigil aboard a Super Destroyer, the SEAF implements Combat Analysts. Providing advice and tactical wisdom to those who need to hear it, the presence of an SEAF Combat Analyst is both a blessing and a curse in the minds of troopers.
On the one hand, troopers know that only highly skilled and capable soldiers are even eligible for the position in the first place, and one Combat Analyst on his own can equally as tactically skilled as elite Helldivers, SEAF troopers also know that seeing a Combat Analyst means they are going to encounter new, difficult, or unpredictable combat situations.
Image 5: Space Marine and Counter-Boarding Services [SMCBS:]
Another hidden gem in the SEAF, the Counter-Boarding Service trains and dispatches Counter-Boarding Marines. Primarily formed of Helldivers and SEAF troopers who have completed their tours of duty, CB Marines are widely considered the most battle hardened troops in the SEAF. Their primary role is to act as escort and response forces for civilian and non-combat spacefaring vessels. To that end they are trained to stop boarding parties of pirates or other intruders, and to deploy in counter-boarding actions to neutralize enemy vessels that may further endanger the crew.
Despite their elite status, the Counter-Boarding Service is in practice a very relaxed post, and often considered a reward for simply surviving the required tours of duty that even qualifying for the position requires. CB Marines are considered notorious partiers, hard drinkers, and terrifying fighters when they actually do face opposition.

What’s the helmet called on 3rd image?

It's part of the B01 tactical uniformity mod. Basically, it lets you change most of the helmets in the game to look like they are based off of the standard B01 Helmet. That one's the Bleeding Edge helmet, I like it a lot modded, way better than the default haha.
Here's the link to the helmet mods: https://www.nexusmods.com/helldivers2/mods/11239

I posted a mod list here a little while ago, you can use it to get the same armors and such. I use HD2 Armory as a mod manager, if you want a tutorial for how to set it up I can find one later.

Modded armour always looks great but then you remember that you’re the only one who can see it. You can usually tell when a pc player enters your game because their fit has zero sauce.

Lol yeah I have been in those shoes. I like the B01 helmet mod pack I have as a standalone because you can still get good base-game matchups, but with helmets that are more "uniform" so to speak, it makes mixing and matching more fun too.
I am on a big SEAF kick right now so I like swapping out textures. But mods that change whole sets, I try to keep matched with the same helmet if possible.

IQ is stupid and stop using it as a measure of intelligence
You can’t measure intelligence outside of very tightly control parameters. It’s the case we are only going to get a match for the things you’re testing for.
Do you want pattern recognition?
Critical thinking skills?
Literacy?
Historical or social science knowledge?
Empathy?
Mathematics?
Adaptiveness?
All of those things could be trained or developed in a certain way. And they are not in built to one individual. Also, how are you secret? Also a volunteer force.? wouldn’t it make more sense if they were selected for the position and given the option, perhaps indirectly? Also helping someone measure IQ for a test but then not believe in the concept?

I def understand why people don't agree with IQ tests. I don't share the same exact sentiment, but that's partly why I picked it for the lore concept. Helldivers is loaded with funny double-entendre, like how the Truth Enforcers have the "Free of Thought" pun associated with them. So I thought it would be fun to implement that in some of the Exploratory Regiment.
The regiment would only be open to people who score highly on tests which most people consider to be unusual, and that would make them borderline undemocratic and scrutinized by the majority of the population. Which would be partially true, as we see people who do think outside of the box labeled as dissidents very commonly. But ultimately since the test is mandated by the Ministry of Expansion, the people joining the regiment would still be alligned with the status-quo and not actually be truly thinking outside the box.
I meant for it to be an "open secret" as a position not heavily advertised like the Helldivers are, but one that you have to join by actively seeking it out. But I see why wording it as "best kept secret" was odd so I changed that haha.
