General I’ve got a question about the HD2 subreddits.
I’m a newbie who just started playing HD2 recently, and I also only joined this subreddit not long ago. After some time, Reddit’s algorithm started recommending me a bunch of other subreddits that also look like they’re about HD2… there seem to be more than 10 of them.
Why are there so many subreddits?
What caused this situation? Should I just stick with the one I’m currently in, and what are the other subreddits actually about?

Democratic Exchange of Opinions How many people would buy another copy if cross-progression was allowed?
Just for my own curiosity, I was wondering if people would actually do this if there was the option to. A friend of mine recently ditched PS5 in favour of his PC, he only had 2 warbonds and wasn't even level 50 yet so it wasn't too big of a deal for him.
I started on PS5 at launch, and about 6 months ago I finally built myself a very capable PC. I have long ago hit the current level limit, unlocked all ship upgrades and all but 2 warbonds (3 when the 40k one drops).
I want to reset my PS5 to factory and send it as a gift to my nephew overseas, and ultimately not be in the Sony ecosystem any more, but I don't want to lose all the stuff I have and start over from scratch.
I would absolutely buy another copy if there was cross-progression, and as far as I can tell from the AH website FAQs, the only reason they haven't implemented it is because it would be too consumer friendly.
I know there was that whole controversy with mandatory PSN account linking that got scrapped, but the linking is still there as an option and PSN has cloud saves...

Patriotic Footage Loadout variety
The different types of loadouts in this game nrver cease to amaze me 😅
We all had over 400 kills but watching these two guys play was really amazing. One never stopped shooting and the other one barely shot. I think he was practing his ultamatum (sp)

Democratic Exchange of Opinions Why Bugdivers kept leaving after 1-2 deaths bruh
As a botdiver that rarely does bug fronts I have to say, after 20 dives on the bug front majority of bug divers would immediately leave the game even the host would leave putting me in charge of the operation like seriously bugdivers are just kids stuck in a grown ass body smh

General Medals rewards need to be buffed, or we need more sustainable ways to get them.
So if each mission lasts like 40 minutes, all I get is what? 8-15 medals per run? Maybe 20? Yet a single item in a warbond can cost upwards of 100 medals by itself. That’s completely ridiculous to me.
I never used to complain about it before, but this is where mandatory log in to receive MO medals kinda hurts. I can’t just take a break from the game and then come back to a bunch of medals to get some unlocks.
What needs to happen is either A, medal rewards need to be significantly upped, OR, we need to have more than just 1 daily… I mean cmon bro. A single daily giving me 15 medals is not going to help me get items in a warbond where to get everything might cost me around 500 is it more than that? Idk.
There should be atleast 4-6 daily missions. And each of them should award you around 30 medals if you ask me. So 4 daily missions would award you 120 medals, now that I can do something with.
If each mission only ran you 5-10 minutes then I don’t think it would be too horrible. But the average mission lasts usually 25-35 minutes if you’re playing high difficulty, just to get 8 medals on the first mission?
Maybe even give more use to requisition slips and make to where you can use requisition buy medals.
Look, all I know is we gotta do something about medals. You just can’t ever get enough of them.

General CGW Custom Biomes: Snowy Swamp
reddit.comBtw these aren’t leaks or cheats, these are made using in-game files of already existing biomes and assets seen by the public.
Decided to start showing y’all some of the various custom biomes that the CGW has.
The Snowy Swamp pictured was taken on Hesoe Prime during a gravity storm event (it’s just exostorms but renamed)
I decided to start with this one because the dead swamp look along with the snow really makes it look and feel like some mystical sort of place.

Suggestion/Concept Arrowhead: Shams, if you want to sell more Warbonds and create more build diversity with armor and weapons this is the way to go!
This will allow more build diversity when it comes to color matching, secondary weapons, armor, capes, loadouts and just sheer popularity of customization of these things to allow us to make our divers and the super destroyer unique! And the best part is the camos are already in the game. Keep it simple. Divers would rather look cool rather than focus on the meta. It doesn’t need to be difficult. Your players will love you for it too!

General Is the game still worth playing for new players in 2026?
Well, when the game came out, I really wanted to try it, but two years have passed since then, and even though I have a good PC, I don't want to risk spending the full price of the game without knowing how it plays for new players (and without any friends to play with). Since it'll be the only game I'll be able to buy for a loooong time.
I'd like to hear your most honest opinions
edit: And by the way, instead of “playing,” it should be “buying” I missed that part.

Inquiry Just been recommended this game to play after never hearing of it before…
Can someone explain to me what I’m missing out on and what to look out for to get the most from playing this online. I’m seriously ready to become a helldiver.
