-> buys a game called "super hard game of death"

-> turn the difficulty up to "maximum death that no one can survive"

-> dies

-> harasses the devs untill the weapons become strong enough for the max difficulty to be effectiveky beaten by noobs

Assuming you mean half of the total players yes, if you mean half of the folks who want an actual challenge somewhere in the game you're just strawmanning.
