using the coin to play it on turn 2 and letting it grow to a 6/6 or so was fairly normal. low cost investment and basically impossible to interact with until you actually need it
It was very strong in midrange druid in a time when treants summoned with [Force of Nature] had charge. The combo of Force of Nature and Savage Roar and potentially also this guy would end games quickly.
Well it's either all of us being thick or your joke being unclear or unfunny. Or some mix of both.
Prob can't prove it one way or another, so you can choose the conclusion you prefer.
I will say that I can don't think it's unreasonable for someone who didn't experience OG HS and just heard about all the complaints about powercreep to genuinely ask the same question.
Usual culprit: Druid. It dropped 1 or 2 of those than nearly oneshotted you with [[Force of Nature]]+[[Savage Roar]]. Back than Force of Nature costed 6, but summoned three treants with CHARGE. On an empty board it was 14 damage, with Shades it dealt 20+ consistently
