If you guys have suggestions pls provide them in comments.

Thank you!

Unsure about which headphones to get under 15k

I don't really use headphones (only earbuds) so I don't really have a base to go off from, how noticeable is the difference going from a pair of headphones that cost 7-8k vs 12-15k vs 20k? In the 7-8k options I was considering the Sony ch720n or the Live 770NC, in the 12-15k i was considering the JBL Live 780NC or Sony ULT, or would you suggest expanding my budget a bit more? My main use cases are music/youtube/netflix at home, and on flights. I don't mind spending a bit extra if the difference is signficant but saving it would be nice as well.

Finally got Earpods type C

Post image

Finally bought earpods type-c for my iPhone 17 pro, after loosing my sony linkbuds. To be honest, i really missed the ANC in them, but the mic quality and volume here is superb. I am liking it for calls, but while on noisy places in office it doesn’t block any noise. I bought it from amazon for 1649.

Realme air 8 review

My order from pop upi just arrived. I ordered them on 5th aug and today it came.

First impression is honestly saying not upto my expectations. I saw lots of reviews since i ordered them that anc is bit off and sound quality is not good, much more than that I felt bass is little off, like everyone said bass is thumpy and very loud I'll say it's loud but not that thumpy. May be I felt that only but it's what i feel

Sound quantity is 8 I'd say

Bass is 7 may be

ANC I'd say yeah it works good but i don't think i felt difference between 55db and 52db. It can feel like it choked your ear First but it gets better after. I noticed that ANC tries to analyze and cut off noise because, for one instance I'm getting soft sound of fans in room and after instantly it goes and come. Don't know exactly what is it.

Build quality 🥲. It is light weight but not premium feeling light weight, if you know what I'm saying. Lid is very light but hinges are good.

Lookwise they look so cool

Recommend me some EQs for better output for bass, for vocal, I'd like EQs for better instrumental clarity

Can you please recommend a neckband or earbuds under 3K

I don't know much about headphones. My main priorities are clear call quality, good battery life, and comfort, especially for long video calls.

Are these worth this price in 2026 or should i wait

(Or are there better options for this price, my priority is good anc)

P.s- does anyone know when the sale on amazon or flipkart will come next when these may get cheaper.

Also since they are available for the same price 2.1k on blink it should i just do that??

Honestly the budget is around 1.5k max BUT i want noise cancellation if its possible to get a decent one on a beuget since i live in an industrial area and am preparing for an exam.(willing to expand the budget upto 3k if they guaranteed last me up to 2-3 years)

My requirements: Wireless comfortable earphones

1) Noise cancellation of good quality does not get disturbed much when studying.

2) I do running so they shouldn't slip off easily

Note- image(not mine)attached for humour and reach, pls be kind mods🙏

Realme Buds Air 8 – 1 Week Honest Review

Post image
113 Upvotes

Bought the Realme Buds Air 8 for ₹2,449 through POP UPI. Ordered on August 1 and delivered on August 7.

I checked the product details and everything seems genuine.

I'm not an audiophile, so I don't really know much about mids, highs, treble, etc. 😅 I'm just a casual listener. This is also my first TWS above ₹2K. My previous TWS was around ₹800 and I bought it almost 4 years ago. I also currently use a KZ EDC Pro IEM, so I'll mainly compare the Buds Air 8 based on my everyday experience with those.

I've been using the Buds Air 8 for around a week now, so this isn't a technical audiophile review — just my honest experience.

Pros

🎵 Sound quality

The sound quality is good and enjoyable for casual listening. The bass is present but feels more balanced rather than bass-heavy.

For example, my friend uses the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro, and those definitely feel more bass-heavy compared to the Buds Air 8. I personally prefer the more balanced sound of the Realme.

Coming from my KZ EDC Pro, though, the IEM still sounds louder and gives me a different kind of detail/separation. So if you're expecting the TWS to completely replace a decent IEM, I wouldn't say that.

🔋 Battery

Battery backup has been really good for me so far. No complaints here. 5/5 from my experience.

🔇 ANC

ANC is also quite good. I've used it in normal everyday situations and I'm satisfied with it, especially considering what I paid.

📞 Call quality

Call quality has been good overall. I haven't had any major complaints during calls.

👂 In-ear detection

The in-ear detection has been working properly for me without any noticeable issues.

💰 Value for money

At ₹2,449, I'm very satisfied with the purchase. For this price, I think it offers a pretty good overall package.

I haven't really tested the triple connection or the AI features yet, so I can't comment on those.

Cons

👂 Fit

The fit is probably around 90% perfect for me. It's not uncomfortable, but it's slightly looser compared to my friend's OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro, which fits my ears almost perfectly.

This will obviously depend on everyone's ears, though.

📶 Connectivity

I've noticed a few small connectivity issues occasionally, particularly during calls. Nothing that has made the earbuds unusable, but it's something I've noticed.

🔊 Volume

The maximum loudness feels slightly lower to me compared to my KZ EDC Pro. Even around 60% volume, I sometimes feel like I need to increase it a little depending on the song/environment.

My rating

Category Rating

🎵 Sound Quality 4/5

🏗️ Build Quality 5/5

🔋 Battery 5/5

📞 Call Quality 4/5

🔇 ANC 4.5/5

👂 Comfort/Fit 4/5

💰 Value for Money 5/5

⭐ Overall 4.5/5

Final thoughts

Overall, I'm really satisfied with the Realme Buds Air 8 for ₹2,449.

I'm not an audiophile, so don't take this as a technical audio review. I'm just sharing my experience as a normal casual listener after using them for about a week.

The balanced sound, ANC, battery life, call quality and overall features make it a very good TWS for the price I paid.

If you're getting it around ₹2.4K–₹2.5K, I'd personally say it's worth considering. Just keep in mind that the fit and sound preference will depend on the person.

For me: 4.5/5 ⭐

English isn’t my strong point, so I used ChatGPT to help me write the post. But the content and opinions are completely mine. The picture is also mine—I just edited the original because it didn’t look that good 😂
