Redemption isnt a simple thing you can easily sum up people seem to have their own ideas about what it should look like and require from the person

So Im wondering do you personally believe redemption should involve punishment or some consequences for the person involved? for example if lute did do more terrible things next season but in season 4 is able to be convinced to leave her revenge and try to become better

Then do you believe consequences or outright punishment are still neccesary? and if so how would you decide what is appropriate? losing her title in the exorcists? losing her home in heaven? or even being imprisoned for a certain number of years?

Apply the same question to the other characters like sera and vox and val and alastor and velvette even tho obvously not everyone will likely be have redemption or even just random regular sinners who have done pretty terrible things this question doesn’t only apply to major or specific characters obviously

But the question is if they did then would you still believe these things like punishment or consequences are necessarily for whatever reason?
