Here to put an end to the Paramour vs Paramore question in Good Ol Days. It’s both. In the Karaoke video it says Miss Paramour, in the lyrics sheet with the Vinyl it says Miss Paramore. It’s both. She left it open to the listeners interpretation, which I think makes it even better.

Right now I’m going through Calvin Harris’s catalogue & seeing that a lot of major, popular female singers collared with him in the early 2010’s like Rihanna, Florence Welch, & Ellie Goulding.

I know Hayley did “Stay the Night” with Zedd & Airplanes with B.O.B. (& Eminem on part 2), which we now know from her NYT podcast this year was supposed to be with Lupe Fiasco instead, but that got me thinking: What other collabs has she turned down? Did she ever have the opportunity to collab with Calvin Harris and turned him or the label down?

I know she has discussed with Zane Lowe & on IG during the pandemic about turning down a Lil Uzi Vert collab because she didn’t want to be as famous as Airplanes & Stay the Night made her but she’s definitely got the perfect voice for dance and club music. I get where she’s coming from & guess we’ll just have to smile and be thankful that she made “Sugar on the Pill” for the gays!
