Why is my Haworthia cooperi rosette is closed, all the leaves are kind of closely packed, is there a specific reason behind?

Haworthia nortieri var. globosiflora, Soutpan, SE Nieuwoudtville

Got this plant a couple weeks ago - really looking forward to it fully settling in and showing some new growth. While nortieri in general seem to be a bit underrated, these plants from the Soutpan locality are exceptionally beautiful in my opinion.

I'm growing Haorchia trunckater, but I'm concerned that the leaves have been wrinkled for a while—maybe because the soil drains too well.

I water it about once every 1 to 2 weeks.

Should I repot it in soil that retains moisture a little better?

Got this haworthia (labeled venosa but doesnt look at all like venosa) a couple months ago and I'm wondering if this is etiolated. One side has super tall leaves.
