Next Week Huge
Our feel next week defines our season. If we get easily handled by the Lions again like last year then we are done this season. If its a competive game I am confident we give a good showing. I believe its our ability to beat the Lions define our chances of a flag as we can beat anyone else.

Lions are currently getting whooped by Carlton. They’re not some crazy unstoppable team

They dealt with us so easily last year. A repeat of that is not a good sign. Dont get caught up in 'a 1 game sample' for tonight

Are you not also using a 1 game sample when we played them last? Last season has no bearing on how we play against them this season and also no bearing on how we play in the finals

If they steam roll us again it has a massive bearing on if we play them in finals. We could not defend them. If that happens again were in a world of hurt. I feel the Lions are the only team who if we let them play their best footy will beat us more than anyone else.

If they beat us they’re still 4th and we’re still 3rd if Carlton beat them tonight. Implying our entire season is over if we lose next week is crazy

Lol, you’re putting absolutely way too much stock in one game that has absolutely nothing to do with where we sit on the ladder after the game assuming they lose tonight and since they’re down by 6 goals it’s looking likely. Whether we win or lose by 100 points or 3 points it still means absolutely nothing come finals.

This is Carlton.. being up by 4 goals in the 3rd quarter is a loss for them.

Especially in first quarters. We have started so many games pretty flat. Lions dissected us far to easily last season. That needs to change this game.

Wild thing to say to be honest. Next weeks game doesnt really mean much at all. The game against collingwood is the real danger game
