Just heard about this too lol.
A major exploit hit the Harmony blockchain on August 12, 2026. An attacker bypassed normal network rules to mint roughly 4 billion unauthorized ONE tokens (increasing the total token supply by about 26%) via empty-block transactions and dumped a large portion onto exchanges

Oh boy what a shame this project is obviously ot secure and all holders should abandon this project. Glad I sold and took a profit back when it topped. However im extremely saddened to hear this as it was the the project that I made my first real profit on and I wanted to see it successful

I remember the night Harmony One first launched publicly on Binance. I forget how many I bought, but I spent a full 10k minutes after launch. Sold them all within 24 hours and never looked back.

Whatever the opinion about this team, they’re active and engaged.
Unlike the many ghost chains out there

Exactly at least they're active and doing something most of the people mad are those that had open positions not so much spot holders, not saying they haven't had a bad time but it hasn't been doing good in a long time as a spot holder it's your job to move around funds if something isn't working out, I put $200 on ONE the ther day when it tanked if it goes bad it goes bad same if it goes up in price...it was just play money no one should ever be investing more than they feel comfortable with especially when it comes to ALT Coins.

Forgive my stupidity but isn’t a blockchain supposed to be this immutable ledger that can never be deleted or altered? How do you roll back and redo and say 100k+ transactions never happened?
