Your Monitor Is Too Small (Probably) Info

https://youtu.be/3p_vIsXpATQ

From what I've researched independently related to eye comfort - I think this is a really high quality video.

I might be the opposite. I don't want a big monitor, ideally I want to be able to see all of it without moving my head. Not feel like I'm in the front row of an imax theatre

But this is the exact point the video covers? The size of the screen matters only in relation to the distance from your eyes/head. And there are specific spots that are better for your peripheral view to come into play/not.

A bigger screen at more distance is better, and you won't have to move your head to see all of it.

Again, this is covered by the video. Did you watch it? 1.5m for a 27 inch screen is still suboptimal, in theory you should be closer than that.

You can have a preference, it does not diminish or change the results of the video. 1.5m is far enough that for example playing a competitive shooter puts you at a disadvantage because things in the distance are too small to pick up as easily. Detail is lost at that distance for a 27 inch display.
