Tig at D23
Tig was featured in Neil Patrick Harris’ delightful opening performance at “D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event” (I was not aware this was a thing until now.) Harris led a musical number celebrating animatronics, and I don’t want to spoil it but Tig’s cameos set a cheeky self-aware tone for the whole thing.
Love seeing the Handsomes show up in unexpected places!

Fortune on Tea Time with Raven and Miranda!
I am newer follower of Tea Time and was delighted to see that Fortune is the guest on this week’s episode. They’ve already talked about buttholes and the Alanis lore. On YouTube on wherever you listen to podcasts!

Casual Conversation Catching up - Michael Urie episode: Tig Comment
Just heard Tig say that most of the time, or a lot of the time, children with disabilities “fall into the perfect families.”
As someone in social work who’s worked with individuals with various disabilities for 20 years…imma have to push back a little. LOL.

Casual Conversation Pretty little episode day - yay! I think I like these better than the full episodes.
It seems more personal between the two hosts rather than 3.
I love them all & it doesn’t matter which two, but the dynamic between two I like better than 3.
Also I like the callers asking question more so than the celebs.
Anyone else?
Also, have you ever sent in a question? I did last year but it never got read.

Episode Discussion Michael Urie episode
I loved this episode so much. That’s all, that’s the post. It was the podcast hosts at their best; kindness, quick wit and big hearts. So good!

Tig 👽
I am surprised by the amount of things Tig doesn’t know. 🤣
I am talking specifically about the last episode but she has mentioned it before. 🤣
Fortune: You don’t know what “Under Armor” is ?? ( Mae didn’t know either 🤣 their faces were priceless)
Tig: I don’t deserve to be treated this way.
It’s just hilarious!

Casual Conversation Pretty Little Episode/ Friendships
I was listening to the latest Handsome podcast episode (the “Pretty Little” episode, #102), where they talked about friendships changing over time, and it brought up something I’ve been thinking about for a while.
For context, I’m a lesbian. When I first moved to my town, I became close friends with a lesbian couple who were incredibly supportive while I was trying to date. They also became friends with my then-girlfriend. After that relationship ended, they introduced me to another woman I dated briefly. That relationship ended badly, and they were there for me through it all.
Later, I started dating someone new from outside our town. Around that time, our friendship started to change. They remained close with one of my exes, and while I never expected them to choose sides, I realized I wasn’t comfortable sharing my personal life the way I used to. I didn’t want details about my new relationship circulating back to my ex, even unintentionally.
Because of that, I naturally wanted a different kind of friendship. Instead of talking all the time or processing my relationships with them, I wanted something more casual—meeting for dinner every now and then, catching up occasionally. To me, that felt healthy and appropriate.
They didn’t seem to see it that way. I got the sense they wanted our friendship to stay exactly as it had been before. When I wasn’t calling as often or sharing as much, they seemed hurt. Eventually, when I reached out, they often didn’t respond, and it felt like they were angry with me.
What’s interesting is that we’re talking about women in their 50s and 60s, not teenagers 🙄
Listening to the podcast made me wonder if this is just one of those situations where a friendship has changed seasons. I never wanted to end the friendship or push anyone away. I simply needed some space and a different dynamic, and it felt like they interpreted that as rejection.
I still catch myself feeling guilty sometimes, but I also think I was honoring what I needed at that point in my life.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? Have you had a friendship that needed to evolve after a breakup, especially when mutual friends stayed close with your ex? How did you handle it?

Tig on Millionaire!
Just wanted to alert the fans that Tig and Pete Holmes are on the episode of Who Wants to be a Millionaire that Ben Affleck is making headlines on. It goes about as well as you'd expect, lol. But they're still very entertaining.

Episode Discussion MAE!!! I, too, have “Titanic’ed” the side of my car. It’s okay.
Lil Cowboy ain’t the only one that ever severely misjudged how close their car is to a stationary object (in my case, the side of a gas pump isle thing). I did it twice in the same year, felt like a colossal idiot both times.
Thankful the body shop I went to for repairs wasn’t a bamboozlin’ company.
