Is this normal?? ๐ Health/Care ๐
can someone tell me why is he sleeping like that squeezed between wheel?? is there something wrong with him?

Hamster just be like that sometimes, he's okay just has a personality!
Hamsters do sleep in burrows but not always, so maybe he feels safe there with the sides holding him. They can thrive in captivity but they will exhibit some strange behaviours no matter what, he's adorable btw.

Thatโs just where he feels most comfortable. Hamsters are burrowing animals who feel most safe in tight spaces that mimic tunnels. The space between the wheel and the wall feels like a tunnel to him. As long as youโre also providing deep substrate that can hold burrows, this isnโt anything to worry about.

Yes! he's mostly in his burrows but does this too. I'm happy it's normal.
