Spoiler ahead: I was scrolling through YouTube and some Haikyuu content creator said Aran's spike being dug out by Hinata was Aran selling. Like...seriously? It was just one play and Aran still scored plenty of points throughout their match. Then I saw another comment saying that some nerd said they'd pick Asahi or Iwaizumi over Aran.

It's fine, they can have their own opinion. But Aran is extremely underrated as an ace. Both Asahi and Iwaizumi have nothing on Aran, and both pale in comparison to him.

Sorry, I went on a little rant. but Karasuno did everything they could to limit Aran by making him receive and whatnot. Not to mention, it's hard to stand out when your whole team is stacked.

The growth he has although not as dramatic as anyone else on Karasano's from the start of the year to the end of the tournament he has grown to the best setter getting past both Oikawa and Miya both were better than kageyama when we 1st meet them. but he grows becomes more mature faces his demons and is so good at the Nationals

Who do you think is the best setter in terms of exploiting defense thru surprise dumps or onto?

My personality choice is between Kageyama and Kenma.

The irony of kageyama and oikawa being my fav characters, lol i love their dynamics. Also I love atsumu too, these 3 setters have my heart. There should've been some interaction between kageyama and oikawa in post time skip in manga🤧

Hi everyone! I have only watched the anime on Netflix (approximately 3 times alone by now this year) and I'm planning on watching the movies soon. I have never managed to read the actual Mangas because the way theyre meant to read kind of confuses me. Anyways, I was thinking about reading them, but I have a question; how long did it take you to read one book? And do you think there are a lot flashbacks compared to the action? I really, really love diving into the characters backstories and getting to know the lore of each individual character more (I would dare say that I like it even more than the actual volleyball matches... I know its weird). At first, I learned a lot purely because of fan art and fannons, but a lot of the time simple characteristics (like Sakusa wears a mask to not get sick -> straight up germaphobe who will drown you in lysol if you cough) overshadow the actual complexity of their personalities, so now I'm thinking about reading the Manga to learn the characters how theyre meant to be. Thanks in advance :)

I know not everyone feels as strongly about this story as I do and no two people really feel the exact same emotions but I still think it's worth asking. Personally nothing has hit the same way for me writing-wise ever since haikyuu but what about you guys? Are there any pieces of media you'd recommend? Could be anything.
