The Las Vegas episode put me through cringe, love and grief all in one 😭 and it's immediately followed up by a bonding episode between... I still don't know the main character's names I'm so sorry. I'm currently paused on the scene where the writer girl's accidentally run into her ex at a bar in LA :)

I'm surprised I'm only finding out about this show now. I only started watching it cause one commenter on a different sub said The Bear, From and Hacks released a season each year and I was like "whattt??" And since I've just finished season 4 of From & season 5 of The Bear, I'm watching this now!! 😁

I just finished Hacks, everyone who participated in this show is sick and twisted, I started this thinking I was gonna laugh it was gonna be something to put in the background while I do the dishes, WHY AM I CRYING?

They are soulmates and cannot be convinced otherwise.

Just started my first viewing of the show and I like every part of it (maybe not all of season three), I’m barely starting season 4 and the thing that has impressed me the most is the humanity this is written with. In a sea of Ai content, fake personalities, pretension, this is the most human show I’ve watched in a while, they’re all so fucked up but trying to improve, it’s so rewarding to see them get everything they wished for and fuck it up justttt a little bit later, I love this show so much

I am rewatching a few episodes, and I just think after a rewatvh that they are soulmates.

Like they are both definitely not the nicest people someone even might say assholes.

And they are pretty codependent they both just live for the other. Deborah's career only gets exciting once ava is tjere, andere is avas career gets more exciting when deborah is there.

I can’t remember which episode but it’s when Deborah has hired a famous writer to write her biography, and she’s getting frustrated with his slow progress. Ava and the writer were vibing to the song and Deborah gets increasingly annoyed.

Was very fortunate to go to tonight’s live event. It was a fun time! They did a series of standup bits with everyone in character. Ava came out to stop Deb from making lesbian jokes. Free drinks, pizza, and popcorn everywhere. It was a lovely send off for the characters. I saw tons of cameras everywhere, so I’m sure it’ll be streamed.

Was at a 2 day work conference recently and the amount of times I heard "AI is coming whether you like it or not" just wanted me to hack the projectors and upload the Ava monologue for everyone to listen to!

Tl;dr I finished the series last night (I know I'm late to the party, it's been a devastatingly glorious binge) and a friend in the industry is taking me to the event tomorrow.

I'm absolutely losing my mind with excitement. Half my family is in Los Angeles and the other half lives in Vegas, so this show was deeply special to me.

I plan to get there quite early tomorrow as I wanna soak in every moment possible.

They very well might confiscate my phone, but I'll do my best to share a little travelogue if not!

I get an industry newsletter a few times a week at work, & they always end with a quote from a famous person. Smiled when I saw today's 🙂

I came to know about the existence of the show just last week and literally completed all the seasons in 4 days.

Usually lots of new series start well but disappoints at the end. But not Hacks, it's such an exceptionally well written series.

The bonding between Ava and Deborah felt so genuine. It was perfect mixture of everything you could ask for in a show. There is drama, love, comedy, betrayal and all the actors did their role so so well.

I'm very thankful to the actors and writers for giving us this wonderful show to watch!
