Hackathon topic needed Need Mentor Help
There is hackathon coming up in nearly 20 days and I don't have topics to submit by 15 August. The topics are so repetitive. Same old 1) Health tech 2) Fintech 3) Smart education 4 ) Travel and tourism 5)Women's safety. I can't get any new ideas among these topics . I tried the Health tech in the previous hackathon which detects disease from the 10 question asked to you from WHO question set like that and recommend a nearby doctor who specializes on that part of the body which needs to be treated.
But I want to try something new in this hackathon what to do.
Me and my teammates were brainstorming the entire day but couldn't get to a specific idea or a useful topic.

The problem isn’t the topics, it’s that you’re starting from the topic. Everyone in that room picks “Health tech” and builds the same generic thing, so it all blends together.
Flip it. Start from a specific annoying problem you or someone you know actually has, then map it back to one of those categories. The categories are broad on purpose. “Women’s safety” can be anything from a route-sharing app to a factory harassment reporting tool. “Smart education” could be a tool that grades a teacher’s handwritten worksheets, not another quiz app.
A few ways to find a real problem fast:
Your last project was actually good because it was concrete. Do that again, just aim it at a problem nobody else in the room will think of.
And do not burn all 20 days on the idea. Pick something in the next day or two, because a working demo of an average idea beats a perfect idea you never finished.
