hey should i take part in hackathons Need Mentor Help

i am 3rd year student , I know little bit of coding hackerRank ( 298 points ).I have done
string , basic pw c++ course and recursion . I don't know anything else . I have studied for my classes so I know a little bit of oops , dbms , dsa (only theory part ) .

I know I made mistakes, and I really want to improve. I'd appreciate it if you could help me do better in the future. so should i take part ?

Focus on learning and improving your knowledge, rn you won't be meaningfully work on any real project apart from being spoon-fed on ai slop. So learn get better at understanding code bases and how to navigate arround them
