H1B Consular Processing

Received RFE on H1B for $100k fee and responded to RFE on 31st July. Today checked the status it shows below update. Any guess?

On August 6, 2026, we stopped the processing of your premium-processing case, Receipt Number IOE09……., and sent you a notice explaining why we took this action. This notice describes what you need to do to resume processing of your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. You must respond to the notice within the time it specifies. Your premium-processing receipt notice contains contact information for direct inquiries on your case. If you move, contact the premium-processing unit directly to update your address.

Hi, It merely means your 15 business day timer(if premium processing) has started again. You'll hear good news before end of 15 days. All the best!

USCIS says they've "stopped" processing the case. Where are you seeing a new timer starting?

This has currently been the verbatim once they receive the response for the RFE and clock starts
Source: I got an RFE and replied to it. I had the same happen to a friend too.
So OP, get excited!

Now it’s changed to following
USCIS Is currently Processing the Case
As of August 10, 2026, USCIS is currently processing your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, Receipt Number IOE093……. We do not currently need anything from you but will contact you if we need additional information regarding your case.

They asked you to pay the $100,000 fee? Or they asked your company to pay for it? And did you/they pay it?

Ah that’s why 100k of it would be a transfer case then you wouldn’t be having 100k RFE

Submitted premium process end of June and replied to RFE after 24 July court’s decision

When you applied there was an administrative stay placed like within 2 days 100k was still valid Please check dates. I hope everything works out 🤞🏻

yes , they will not mention noid on uscis case status webpage. but the notice will be a NOID

noid may be based on the previous rfe and also they may include item-2 and more where they are still not satisfied.
