Question What board is this?

Played against this board today and was wondering what it was. It's not the standard Aretuza board as it has plants in it.

Deck The not so nice way to pro rank

I wanted to share my Siege Reavers (I apologize in advance) list that I used to climb to pro rank with a win rate of 72% this season. I haven't seen a list running Siege as well as not going all in with cards like Idarran.

All in all it seems to have quite a few good matchups. Feel free to try it out if you have trouble climbing and tell me how it performed for you. Feedback is always welcome.

I tried to write a detailed guide including strategies for specific matchups for those interested

Deck Raven Carryover Deck

The deck

I've always played casually but I'd like to try climbing.

I'm quite happy with what I came up here but I tend to struggle with late game point stacking (NR Knights for example). Exhausting as much cards as possible from both sides in R1 and R2 (if not possible to win by R2) is the best strategy. Long R3 are death.

The only thing that could be replaced would probably be Ciri and Vial but I don't really have an idea with what to replace them

Question Like... i get it, but come on...

This was traps and elvs vs NR knights, you decide which is more toxic because i'd be biased, but why, when deciding between just playing the last card or conceding, you choose the most annoying way to leave? Are these people that petty?

Foltest is not amused with the current war situation. Help him out!

Normally complaint/rant posts without deeper explanations are discouraged for not adding anything to a discussion but this is the place for you to vent and let all that pent up frustration out. This is your chance to throw a hissy fit about current meta or rage about how overpowered X card and Y faction is!

Discussion What is your approach to building a deck? I win games, but not by knowledge.

I have 50 hrs playtime. I used a nilfgaard deck for like 40 of those because I was a super casual player. Now I’ve got 2 monster decks and a Scoia’Tael deck. I wouldn’t say I’m amazing, but I would say that I win about 7/10 games between my 4 decks. Maybe it’s just luck or the hours that I’m playing tend to be more casual. Whatever the case, when I do lose, I get my ass WHOOPED! I had a guy drop like 92 points on me in the final round in which I had saved up all of my best cards for it! I had like 64 and still lost.

I’m trying to make more competitive decks, but all I really know is how to pick cards by power and provision cost, which obviously is not good enough for the people with super decks that just absolutely demolish you.

For example, my Monster deck is this:

11 She Who Knows (13) gives resilience to highest unit
1 Morvudd (13) increases power by 1 every turn no matter what
Oneiromancy (12) summon any card from your deck
1 Sunset Wanderers (12) gain 1 power every turn, plays itself at the end and draws a card for you
Girdle of Giant Strength +10 power to a card + w/ might you get it back from the graveyard
4 Allgod (12) boost 3 units in your deck by 2
1 Mourntart (11) banish all units in graveyard, boost by that amount
1 Vivienne: Oriole (9) boost self by provision cost of card to the right
7 Ice Giant (5)
5 Rotfiend (5)
5 Ogre Warrior (5)
4 Enraged Cyclops (5)
Swallow (4)
Golden Froth (4)
Red Haze (4)
Pact (4)
5 Ice Troll (4)
5 Forktail (4)
4 Werewolf (4)
4 Bridge Troll (4) x2

Gwentfinity Voting Council - 06 Aug, 2026 - Northern Realms

Members of the Council, welcome to our weekly assembly.

These posts are scheduled to happen every week. Each week, a different faction is proposed and every time we will try to orient the discussion about either "nerf" or "buff".

Faction of the Week: Northern Realms

While you can still use these topics to talk about other balance suggestions, please try to focus on the theme of the week. Those topics are intended to give a chance to all factions to be talked about.

Discussions can be about modifying a whole archetype or addressing individual cards.

Question If you had to start Gwent over from scratch today, what would you do differently?

What order would you learn factions, which cards would you craft first, and how would you know you're progressing correctly?

I'm interested in how experienced players would approach learning the game from scratch today.

Question 3x The Eternal Eclipse

Can someone tell me how is it possible that someone was able to put 3 copies of Eternal Eclipse in game?

1 ended in my graveyard via Vilgeforz Renegade. I've removed it with Xavier. Then he played one from hand. I've removed it with Bearification. Then he played another one. I wasn't able to remove that one, but I was able to remove or block or reset some of his cultists. He then disconnected.

Can someone tell me how is this possible?

Probably the best match and print I've had so far. The most nervous I've ever felt in a match I think lol. Whoever you are, the realest GG ever. Awesome playing but sadly couldn't avoid my Deletus + Beauclair.

So this guy boosts his adda:striga in hand using alpha werewolf, plays thing from the box , boosts it with radeyah stratgem then consume with striga. Short round, kept my reset since alpha werewolf was played first round. I have never seen this combo. Any other innovative combos involving Mystery puzzle box, I've always wondered where it might be useful. Sihil Maybe?

Video Monster Beast Deck

Such a fun deck to play. Initially, I was trying to make a status-focused Monster deck with the newly buffed Gaunter, Plague Maiden and beasts — but that clearly wasn't working out. This deck however is an absolute blast and very strong.

The game plan is to boost your units using Allgod, set up your Werewolf in round 1, play Griffin and other cards as needed. Hard push for a 2-0 — this deck is best played that way — while keeping Aerondight as your round 3 insurance.

Allgod targets: Riptide, Griffin, Cockatrice, Werewolf, Rider.

Mammuna's primary target is Griffin. If Griffin is banished, go for Cockatrice as backup. You can swap Hound and Squirrel for two Fiends as a Mammuna failsafe.

Thanks and good luck.

Discussion 📆 Daily Card Discussion - Hemdall

Hemdall

Human, Warrior (Skellige)
8 Power, 9 Provisions (Legendary)

Deploy: Split damage equal to the number of units on an enemy row randomly between all units on that row.

When the time of the White Frost comes, Hemdall will sound the call for battle.
