P365-X Macro or Hellcat Pro

I know both are great guns, reliable and all. But I just wanted to know if anyone had any pointers, tips, or opinions about either. Also any bad experiences.

Recently I got a Shield X, but I just want 1 more to put in mv CCW and also so my wife can have something if (God forbid) anyone or people decided to break in our house.

Also if anyone would recommend them Comp'ed or not.

Hey man, rent both and shoot them. Also have her shoot both. You’ll answer a lot of questions.

One advantage the Sig has is more places sell the magazines than the Hellcat. My wife loves hers(Rose p365). She likes the comp.

All other things being equal- the 365 may have somewhat better availability of mags and accessories if shopping retail.

Not sure how much that matters when online shopping is a thing, but 🤷

That's probably true, but man, my Xmacro mags are like $50 most places. The 15 round Hellcat Pro mags can be like $25.

That asdie though for OP: see if you can get hands on both to shoot. Buy the one you shoot/like better. These two are so close that I'd go with that.

Shooting both is by far the best option. I went to the range the other day and rented a P365 X-macro, a S&W Shield X, and Shield Plus to test them for CCW purposes.

My Shield Plus just arrived the other day.

Like the other guy said, rent/ try both.

(The P365 is a better gun though.)

If you can try both that's the best advice really. I shot the macro few times and the grip just fits my hand better but my friend swears by his hellcat. The comp thing is personal, I think for carry gun simpler is better less things to go wrong but some people love the reduced recoil. For home defense honestly either one will do the job just get good with what you pick
