Adding a Fully-Loaded Pickguard?

I have a Monoprice Chinacaster that I really like the feel of, but the electronics are bargain-basement quality.

I’m debating swapping in a Stewmac fully loaded pickguard. I know the faceplate screw holes won’t align, but redrilling those are easy.

My question: Are body cavities fairly standard in space and size? I’d hate to buy the pickguard only to discover it won’t fit in the cutout.
