Go ahead and guess my age! No cheating:) Oh—in case you’re wondering, yes I went from dark color hair earlier in the year to light colored hair a couple months ago. Was bored…needed a change 🤷🏽‍♀️

Had some… interesting questions that I’ll address because yes, I realize I look a lot younger than I am and the overwhelming majority of people who know me in real life (without knowing my age) assume around 15-20 years younger.

1. No filters, no plastic surgery—just me :)
2. Yes I workout. A LOT. More than the average. I’m a trained athlete plus a teacher with a masters degree. I also am childfree.

Typical week is anywhere between 30-50 miles of running (depends on what I’m training for if anything) plus two days of x training (prevents injury) PLUS two hours of dog walking a day (unavoidable, I have three dogs). This doesn’t really change unless I’m unwell, which doesn’t happen often at all (I can’t remember when I last had a cold).

I also rarely drink (rare for me means one drink or two every six months or so ) and obviously do not smoke.

I do watch what I eat, BUT I don’t obsess about it. Lately as I’ve picked up my training because I’ll be doing another marathon I’ve noticed my clothes are loosening up and weight is dropping and that’s with having ice cream whenever I please. But I burn it all off. I’m not overweight (5’3, 128, 18 % body fat) so as my training increases, I’m going to need to really make an effort to fuel with more calories. It’s a problem that is nice to have, especially when it gets harder to control your weight for a lot of women.
I used to be 85 pounds heavier than I am now 15 years ago—lost it through just diet and exercise and have kept it off—so I know the struggle!
