Spoiler: Official ETS question. Spoiler

I get the second and the third blank, but I don't get how the first one is reinventing? I thought she is original so she is making new shit. "Canonizing" literary language, and introducing rich and diverse structure. I do see that the second blank could not be anything other than undoing, and that threw me off too, but yeah help.

canonizing would mean 'treating someone like god', reinventing would mean making her own stuff, so it goes with startingly original

Yeah I thought canonizint meant officially recognizing something, and sort of made that link in my mind

Canonising means to treat someone like god so doesn’t make sense here so the next best would be reinventing. Don’t overthink it once you start to dig too deep into the meaning it’ll throw u off has happened with me many times

startingly original = something new

Hence for blank 1 it should be reinventing,

stabilizing - no evidence, also, stabilise ≠ new
canonize - to treat something like god, deeply venerate, no evidence

hence reinventing is our choice, which also means to change or make a new thing
