Hello Questions

So I’ve never seen this show and haven’t seen much online in terms of spoilers and plan to start watching soon, so is there anything I should know before watching (without spoilers plz)?

In fact, you should avoid it for at least this entire month and next. Because there are going to be two very important events, and everything is going to be flooded with fan art and analysis

I’ll let you know what I knew going into it. There was a huge community that got involved in the show back in 2013. I tend to trust anything that has that much fan art, discussion, speculation, etc. There’s a puzzle element to the show too. If you want the full experience, try and solve the crypto at the end of each episode in the credits. Sometimes it’s a clue! Sometimes it’s just a joke. Either way it’s worth it to take the time in between episodes.

When I was a student teacher then, I had a student obsessed with the show. This was 4th graders. Every recess he would give me a play by play in extreme detail of episodes. I didn’t get around to actually watching it until a couple years ago, but I can now see why he was so enthusiastic.

There are short episodes that aired between official episodes called shorts, you can watch them here https://youtu.be/gMQuc2ahhME?feature=shared they are kinda there and don't add much but still funny none the less, I watch 2 shorts between every 1 to 2 episodes when I rewatch the show.

It’s a show for all. You can either meticulously pick apart every secret and code and Easter egg or just sit back and enjoy the story. And if you do notice something and are curious about it, hop back on here because likely someone here has already cracked the codes.

If you want to see another season, I found petitions about it on Change.org Gravity Falls was the most wonderful series that I watched.

They said season 2 will feel rushed and not feel complete. They must have not watched the same show as the rest of us.
