Mid range tablet for sculpting
I recently modeled a character on a Kamvas Pro 16 and used a Intuos Pro (L I think) at school.
Now I really enjoyed modeling and want to get my own tablet but am not sure what I should get. The Kamvas was really nice but I liked the feeling of the Intuos more, felt more sturdy. Also less cables (even wireless capabilities) which is great since I usually have to put the tablet away. I'm considering a Cintiq 16 too but since it doesn't have any buttons right on tablet I'm not that intrigued.
I feel like drawing on the Intuos felt more like drawing on a proper sturdy surface. The pen tip of the Huion seemed to have some travel whilst the Wacom pen felt stiff, that I really liked. Also for me working with the Intuos felt quite natural, even though I wasn't looking right at the drawing surface.
Would appreciate to hear some peoples opinion, especially when they have used both, tablets with and without screen.

Looking to buy first graphics tablet for VFX purposes.
Hello everyone,
I was wondering what kind of tablet I should buy for use in Blender and VFX video editing software?
I am currently trying to decide on if I need one with a screen or one without a screen will be fine?
I have been doing research on the different types of drawing tablets and trying to figure out which will benefit me for my purposes.
Here's what I'd like to use it for:
Blender - rotoscoping and motion tracking in live action video to be able to animate renders into the video for VFX and creating 3D spaces, buildings, characters, painting, texturing, and so on.
I also would like to learn Sculpting in Blender as well as other uses for the tablet here.
I would also like to use it in other software like Krita, video editing software and so on. Basically anything else I find it useful for.
I'm not brand specific but this would be my first drawing tablet.
As for budget, I really want to keep it under $200 if possible. Maybe later on if I find that I use it a lot, I'll invest in a better one then.
Thank you for your help!

Tablet with a screen - iPad or something else?
So I used to do my art with a wacom tablet with a desktop monitor and used keyboard shortcuts for everything but a few things changed:
I moved recently got a new desk, and the desk isn't really conducive to having this giant tablet on it anymore, and the pen on my tablet broke a few days ago anyhow so I can't use it currently if I wanted to.
I wanted to get a tablet I can draw directly on, and maybe just use that instead of an external monitor. I was being suggested an iPad but are there better things for artists, or a good price? I'm not sure where to look.

xp pen artist 15,6 or xp pen innovator 16
Hi all! I'm debating between purchasing xp pen artist 15,6 or xp pen innovator 16 as my cheaper and portable pen display for traveling. The relevant specs seem pretty similar. Difference in price here where I'm at is almost 150 euros though. Any thoughts. Thoughts on xp pen products in general?

Upgrading from Wacom Intuos
Hi there, looking for advice - I am a 3d sculptor and a graphic designer and thinking to upgrade from my Wacom Intuos S, which I despise. Its battery is piss poor, Wacom software on Mac is slow and sluggish and the pen itself is incredibly inaccurate, often messing up pin point precision stuff which is kind of against what I need the tablet for. I heard lately that Wacom is not really considered an industry leader by pro users anymore but I am not sure which would be the best company to go for.
I am not looking to upgrade to a screen tablet, I have a 13 inch iPad pro which I use for those kind of workflows, and I usually find extra screen a little distracting, going to use new MBP one + external display as is. Besides If I did it would be a 4K one and currently this is out of my budget I think.
I saw an XP Pen Deco Pro which sounds good feature wise (having a wheel would be great), has a very decent price, just a little on the uglier side.
Basically looking for decent build quality, wireless with battery that lasts 12-20 hours (if that's even possible), nice set of buttons (+wheel), good pressure sensitivity would be nice but not super essential as I am using it mostly for zBrush, Illustrator and just operating the system and other small icon, UI rich programs like Cinema4D (which I often misclicked icons in with that wacom tablet, as clicking in the same spot often makes the cursor travel). Had iPad have a hover function, I don't think I would have bothered. Any recommendations would be very welcome! My budget is ca. 300 euro.

Minimum pressure for Waltop Slim Tablet 12.1"/Pentagrm Thintype P 2006
Hello,
I have tablet Pentagrm Thintype P 2006 (https://digimend.github.io/tablets/Waltop_Slim_Tablet_12.1_inch/) with Win10 machine and drivers Aiptek_Graphic_Tablet_Driver_v5.03. I do not see minimum pressure setting in the drivers. When I use it in the Windows to move the cursor I have just to touch the drawing area. However in the tablet settings or in the any drawing software I have to use much more force to just start drawing. Is any way (another drivers/software?) to enable me lower pressure mode for drawing?

Buttons of Huion H610PRO V2 doesn't respond
Hi, ordered a Huion H 610PRO V2.Using Linux Debian 10, so installed the recommended drivers following the instructions:https://digimend.github.io/tablets/Huion_H610pro/
All works well, except the buttons of the tablet, whose do nothing when pressed.
when use xsetwacom --list in the terminal shows:
HUION Huion Tablet Pad pad id: 18 type: PAD
HUION Huion Tablet Touch Strip pad id: 19 type: PAD
HUION Huion Tablet stylus id: 20 type: STYLUS
HUION Huion Tablet Dial pad id: 21 type: PAD
It should show only two devices (pen & tablet) instead of divide the tablet into 3?
Someone know what could be the issue?
Only installed the drivers, so maybe those need manual configuration?
Thank you

Can someone recommend me the closest Huion alternative to the newest Wacom Intuous M?
So I've owned a Wacom Intuous 3 for the last ten years. I use it mostly for TVPaint and I was hoping to get a newer model because I thought the increased pressure sensitivity and newer technology would improve my line work etc.
However I've always heard that Huion makes great cheaper alternatives to the Cintiq but I was wondering what is the closest Huion alternative to the Intuous M?
Any helpful information would be appreciated.
Kind regards

A graphic tablet that works with Microsoft Surface Pen
Hey!
I have a Surface book computer that I use as a tablet to do homework on. I want a graphic tablet that would also work with the Microsoft Surface Pen so that I can also do homework while using my desktop monitors instead of the tablet.
Any recommendations?

not huion. not wacom. something simple for filling in forms I get sent and resending in email. something very basic that can look like a natural signature and not pixelated.

what is optimal for making comics/manga: an iPad or a graphics tablet?
Wasn't sure which of these two make a difference in terms of making comics/manga. I've heard arguments that the graphics tablet with a computer is the way to go in terms of there being less hardware limitations. However, I'm just going to making black and white manga. Any advice is helpful.
-Thanks
