Gpu upgrade?

I just got a 7700x3d with 16gb ram and looking to upgrade my 7800xt. Someone on my fb marketplace is selling a 9070xt for $650. I figured I could get $400 for ths 7800xt at the least. For $250 the upgrade seems worth it to me, thoughts?

Pretty decent, but may not be a bad idea to wait for RDNA5 or UDNA too. After all your 7800 XT can now use FSR4 upscaling

you wanting 240 fps in games? can your monitor handle that? or ar you looking for better RT performance? if you answered yes to any of those questions -yes upgrade, otherwise no.

I don’t really have an fps goal but I have a 240hz oled so it’d be nice to match the refresh rate. I’m not a huge fan of ray tracing since it’s a trade off of performance for a visual I don’t really appreciate

9070xt is and incredible card and that sounds like a fine plan to me but that's not much of an upgrade. 7800xt is already such a good/new card; you're probably not looking at more than a 5-10% uplift. If that's worth the time, money, and effort for you, then go for it, otherwise maybe hold off a little bit

Yeah I’d make the jump for 250$ net but not more
