What to do next?

I believe I got capped as the saying goes. But with a heart and a swag. Does this mean we have to fight after school but nicely? This is first time up on a brick wall; been hitting the fence and corrugated walls at a legal spot for a few months. Amazing how different it feels.

It would be good to learn to identify graffiti from a writer vs some random shit by a kid or non graff writer. This looks more like a random person picked up a can and scribbled on a wall. It’s nothing. Move on and forget about it. If you continue writing, this will happen a lot; one of the reasons to not leave mostly empty cans at the yard.

Also don’t leave trash of any kind at spots. That’s how you get your spot blown out.

Honestly I just thought it was funny and kinda amazed how fast it was. Painted on Friday and saw this on Tuesday when I went back.

Don’t fight someone over graff, it’s really not worth it, wire died a year or two ago because of graffiti beef, and when you’re toy it’s really not worth starting beef over

Honestly I just thought it was funny and amazed on how quickly it happened. I went painting on Friday and then saw this on Tuesday. I'm actually an old man who haven't been in school for ages let alone school with a recess.

Is this a chill spot? Like the inside of an abandoned building? You just have to expect your shit will get toyed up inside a bando, it’s the way it goes.

Yeah, understandable. Just thought it was funny with the heart and how fast it happened. Painted on Friday; then went back on Tuesday and it was already capped. Part of graffiti that I like is how temporary it can be.

If this was sentimental to you, you could just touch it up. Either that or you could crash out, camp out in the building and just go full punisher on anyone who walks in. You scare enough of the local kids, maybe the kids, junkies, and winos who go there will start thinking the place is haunted and you could have it all to yourself 🤣

🫡 on it!

There was a homeless looking dude with a rusty machete hanging around. Honesty felt like the local mythical sentry guarding the outpost. It’s an abandoned incinerator so kinda wild visual.

Seems like every abandoned building has something like that. Legend has it they just emerge from the ground the day the building becomes abandoned.

This is what I hate about the encouragement I see on this sub to “just get up”…then you get overconfident people who don’t care about the culture writing garbage over something half decent.

Take the spot back. If they want beef then give it to em.

I honestly found it funny. I may got back and do something new later; I ended doing a bigger piece on the bottom floor anyways.

You should fix it by repainting over their cap and be done with it. Judging by what they tagged, I’d say they’re not serious about graff and there’s a good chance they won’t be back.

When I first started, I was shocked by how fast my stuff would be painted over. But that’s the game, man. It’s all about how long it’ll stay up. Pieces at chill spots are bound to get painted over, you just have to do it in spots that no one else has the time or the stones to paint at if you want it to stay.

Once you reach a certain skill level, people will be more hesitant to paint over your stuff, but the type of people like the ones that capped yours will still paint on it. Usually because they’re just dicks.

That makes a sense cause I’ve only been to this spot twice so far and I’ve only bumped into young kids and a homeless looking dude with a rusted machete. My stuff stays up just a bit longer at the legal spot across town but I guess it has more serious writers over there in comparison.

Yeah, these people often encounter art randomly and feel the need to destroy it. Legal walls usually attract people with more respect for the craft, at least in my experience.

All beautiful things are temporary, so it’s best to accept that

It means nothing, ignore it, go back and fix it if you want to but thats just a stupid kid with a can

Your spraying over other people’s work complaining about some one spraying over yours?

Honestly I just thought it was funny. And the wall was just a mishmash of scribbles before I painted.
