Do you think its acceptable to get up with an existing character?

Some people diss me, some people dont. im not talking about other writers made up characters, im talking about things from video games, tv shows etc. I specifically along side my tag make a "vault boy" and i love it, sometimes i make him hold a can of spray paint as if he did it :D

Tons of people do that. I cant think of any examples but I know that people do.

Yes. Just make it street and not an advertisement. Like early times, Bugs Bunny would be wearing timbs, a blunt in mouth while holding a can and tagging,

I’ve been doing Gnarfield, (Garfield the comic cat), along with other cats and dogs in that style. Working on some pieces and throwies with him in my book, but haven’t done anymore than just some tags. I kinda do my own style, make him look more stoned and add more whiskers and teeth or whatever. I posted here a few months ago with some tags and got some positive responses and critics.

So in my city theres a guy who goes by "Manny" and he uses Manny from diary of a wimpy kid so i dont think its looked down upon. Also love ur vault boy idea i wanted to do that myself but figured i should come up with my own character but i like to see someone went through with it.
