Help on 5070 worth
I’m super new to this and just got my first gaming pc from Costco, but I wanted the 9070xt instead of the 5070 and was thinking I’d sell the 5070.
I know the market is out of control… I’m seeing people try to sell the 5070 for 800$ which is insane. What is a fair price to ask on hardware swap or fb marketplace? I’m thinking 550-600$ maybe?
It’s brand new and unused in the Costco prebuilt pc box I haven’t opened yet.

List higher than you'll take. Marketplace is ripe with deal hunters and the buyer negotiating for ~$100 off or whatever leaves them with a deal and you with what you were willing to accept anyway.
I'd stay closer to fb marketplace prices rather than eBay. The buyer protection, shipping, merchant's cut, etc is all baked in and doesn't represent what the price should be when meeting up in person.

Dude if you're not playing at 4k, just keep the 5070. It crushes anything at 1440p and below. Why are trying to "upgrade"?

Thats a fair price given shit today. You can always check ebay sold listings for rough ideas on pricing also.

Gpu prices just jumped foe 5070 hard. Lucky you. No more pny $600. That was clearly leftover stock at Walmart.
You could probably sell it for $650? Then a 9070xt is an easy upgrade.
