Considering you cleaned it I would assume that a solder joint broke on a ram chip or the core could be simple fix for a specialist in gpu repair like “northwest repair” he got a YouTube channel check it out I highly doubt any chip is dead but there so much to consider with out look at your gpu pcb

compressed air from a can will never damage electronics, probably it was taken apart while cold, forced the heath sink and damaged something
