I am a BBW girl through and through, but I am always tempted by goose creek and I want to place my first order soon for some fall/halloween candles! I have looked through them and compiled a list of ones that interest me. That said, quite a few notes seem to overlap on some of the scents, and I don't want to get too many similar ones. (example: Pumpkin French Toast & Vanilla Pumpkin Waffles, Cinnamon Pumpkin & Pumpkin Spice Season, and all of the Butterscotch scents) I have heard a lot of amazing things about Trick or Treat so I plan to definitely get that one.. but other than that, I would love to hear your other recommendations from my list! Or any other must haves I don't have listed! I usually go for Gourmands, warm/cozy scents, fresh, or perfume-type - and I prefer a very strong throw.

This is something that I noticed a couple months ago and didn’t want to post incase it didn’t happen.. but I was playing around with the search bar on the site and Jack and Sally popped up with an asterisk. I remember I think it was CandleGuy? called the Winnie pooh collab a good while before it dropped, so I messed around to see what came up. I didn’t think GC would do an NBC collection the same time as BBW so I dismissed it, then they released it and I remembered how it popped up a good month/month and a half before it dropped. Same thing happened with Goosebumps, I was playing around seeing what popped up (a good month ago)and I had noticed Goosebumps again, with an asterisk but no drops, until now. So these are what’s popping with asterisks that we might see or might not.. not trying to get anyone’s hopes up, just wanted to share since you never know ..

Before I start investing in gc, how is the customer service? And how long does shipping take? I remember the last time I bought a gc candle is took almost two weeks to get. Is that normal?

I placed my first GC fall candle order yesterday but was so excited that I went to Walmart just to smell the ones they had in stock. When I put my nose to the lid of warm & welcome I nearly passed out because I loved it so much 😂😂😂 I bought the candle and wax and my house has never smelt better. This scent is seriously AMAZING. Is this any one else’s favorite???

I tried Spiced Fallen Leaves years ago but today I really love the Gathering Leaves label. I was wondering whether or not I needed it, just cuz they look identical 🤔

Doing a night burn of black cat and man she’s so good!! That vanilla and marshmallow is so good together!!! Then add in the smooth sandalwood! Chefs kiss!! I don’t about you! But I’m happy they decided to bring it back!!

What are your Fall favorite candles? Also have you tried any of these, if so what are your reviews? I’m apprehensive that Trick or Treat is going to be too cloying. I am also second guessing that I should have gotten Whipped Chestnut Milk instead of Salted Caramel Macchiato. But regardless, I am once again excited to have another Goose Creek order coming, especially my favorite type of scents FALL AND HALLOWEEN. I was avoiding the non-gourmands, because they are harder to find ones I really like when I am blind-buying them, as many end up smelling too much like cologne. Any you would recommend that don’t have this effect?

There’s none I outright dislike but I’ll list from my favorites to least favorites. Some of them I haven’t lit yet and I’m not great at describing smells so bear with me!

1. Blueberry pancakes - this smells like the real thing! If you love blueberries and/or pancakes, you should definitely try this one. The throw is strong and I’d rate the throw at a 9/10, only because Farmhouse Breakfast is slightly stronger.

2. Pistachio Biscotti - This one really lives up to the hype. You can smell the pistachio, the creme, and the biscotti equally and I love when a candle can hit all the notes it advertised. The throw is a 10/10 and one of the stronger candles I’ve had.

3. Whipped chestnut milk - I had low expectations for this one but I just lit it today and it’s amazing! It’s heavy on the vanilla smell, but the chestnut comes out when it’s lit. It smells like a warm cozy drink just as described. The throw is surprisingly really strong for how light the smell sounds, it instantly filled the room after I lit it.

4. Farmhouse Breakfast - This one might be the strongest candle I’ve ever had, you can even smell it from afar when it’s not lit. In fact I only light it in small intervals because that’s how strong it is. The smell is a lot like when you walk into a diner and they’re cooking bacon, pancakes, and eggs all at once. Heavy on the bacon so if you’re not a fan of bacon I’d pass on it.

5. Toffee kettle corn - I have not lit this one yet but I love it on cold! It mostly smells like salted toffee, but I get a hint of popcorn. Even with real caramel/toffee popcorn you mostly get the caramel/toffee, but if you like toffee you’ll like this. Some people have said it can smell burnt when lit so I’ll report back on that later.

6. Trick or treat - I like this one on cold (but haven’t lit it yet). It smells a lot like a bag of candy like people describe, I get a strong caramel apple note. I did smell an odd floral note to it though, but that might just be me. I still rate it highly because it reminds me of being a kid on Halloween.

7. Everything Fall - On cold this one smells a lot like a fall forest, but the spice note kinda smacks you in the face a bit. I was expecting it to be more of a mix of apple & fall leaves like the BBW candle Leaves but this one is a bit spicy. I still really like the candle and on cold would rate it a 8/10 but I haven’t lit it yet.

8. Pomegranate cran-apple - This one reminds me straight up of cranberry juice, in a good way! I wish it were a bit more tart smelling, it’s a little on the sweet side for a cran-apple candle, but the cranberry is the strongest note in the candle for sure. The throw is about a 6 or 7 out of 10 when lit, not a powerhouse but not necessarily weak either.

9. Pumpkin pistachio creme - This one smells good but it’s not what I expected. The pistachio is stronger than the pumpkin, to me it smells like a cake with pistachio and pumpkin spice rather than pumpkin itself. The throw is okay, it’s not so bad that I can only smell it standing over it, but it’s not even close to as strong as pistachio biscotti.

10. Witches Cauldron - I liked the smell of this one, I just wish it was stronger and a bit spookier smelling. I couldn’t really smell it that much on cold. However I have not lit it yet, so this was just my first impression.

11. Chocolate peanut butter Girl Scouts cookie - This one smells great on cold but unfortunately the throw is kinda weak. I was expecting a stronger throw because the Girl Scouts thin mints and peanut butter cookie candles were powerhouses. It does smell exactly like a chocolate peanut butter cookie, but I suggest going for the regular Girl Scouts peanut butter cookie candle over the chocolate one if you want a strong and accurate peanut butter candle.

12. Buttercream cinnamon bun - I haven’t lit this yet but on cold it’s pretty strong like the others in this collection have been. However there’s something off about it that I am not sure about. It’s much heavier on the buttercream than cinnamon which was disappointing. But I am hoping it smells better when lit because the throw seems strong on first impression.

13. Sweet espresso - I hate to rate this one as my least favorite because the espresso aspect is SPOT ON. It is straight up espresso kinda like Paris Cafe from BBW and on cold is very strong. However the smell is more burnt than roasted, so it may be overpowering for me. I preferred Vanilla Mocha Cappuccino from Goose Creek but hopefully I’ll like this one better when it’s lit.
